After a case of tainted cupcakes on Body and Soul's reboot premiere day and Bonnie (Judi Evans) falling down an elevator shaft, it's become quite clear that someone is targeting the cast and crew of Salem's very own soap opera. On Tuesday, all seems calm, until it appears that there are new victims in this dangerous game.

While Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) gets on with her life and is happily with a new man (for now), Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) meet in the DiMera living room to have a serious conversation about their marriage. Johnny somehow manages to get his point across to his wife. He is truly sorry for being a jealous jerk and nearly sleeping with another woman.

Chanel just can't help herself and relents. She is in love with this man despite everything he has done and she knows that Johnny is genuinely remorseful for his horrible behavior.

They seal the deal with a kiss, but then something goes wrong. Chanel is beside herself when Johnny suddenly passes out. How could he be fine one moment and slumped over on the couch the next? Will Chanel get Johnny help in time?

Bad news for Hattie

Hattie (Deidre Hall) puts on her soap opera diva hat again and has demands of her head writer. To that end, she marches right into Leo's (Greg Rikaart) Salem Inn room with both questions and orders. Does she not like something in the script again and wants it changed?

Leo and Hattie argue, as Leo likely wishes he was back with her doppleganger and his BFF, Marlena Evans (also Deidre Hall). However, Leo quickly becomes alarmed when Hattie winds up unconscious on his bed.

This is an unexpected turn of events for Leo. He knows that something hinky is going on behind the scenes. It becomes more clear than ever that the Lady Whistleblower arc was just the tip of the iceberg and Body and Soul is in big trouble. Could this soap-within-a-soap plot finally be reaching its climax and coming to an end? More importantly, will Hattie survive the Body and Soul stalker?
