Days of our Lives spoilers, February 19: Another night of passion for EJ and Belle

Things didn't end well for Belle (Martha Madison) and EJ (Daniel Feurriegel) a few years back when Sami (Alison Sweeney) caught her sister in bed with her estranged husband. Belle swore the whole thing was a mistake and repeated that sentiment just recently. However, she just can't seem to help herself and keeps returning to EJ for more "one"-night stands.

Belle is surprised when EJ tells her that he thinks they are more than just a casual fling. He is actually developing feelings for his former sister-in-law. EJ might also find himself in quite a pickle if all of his recent dirty dealings come out. Belle already had an odd run-in with "Rafe" (Galen Gering) at Small Bar in which he began kissing her out of nowhere.

She won't take too kindly to learn that EJ has been holding the real Rafe hostage for nearly two months and knows that Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) has Ava (Tamara Braun) hostage at Aremid. EJ might want to solve his latest situation if there is any hope for a real romance with Belle. Poor Belle also has no clue that EJ has been after her job.

Xander the romantic

Xander (Paul Telfer) gives Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) the best Valentine's Day of her life with a romantic dinner in the Kiriakis living room. He wines and dines his wife and showers her with beautiful gifts as they look back on the difficulties of the last year and look toward a brighter future. There was a point where they didn't think Sarah would be able to walk again, and now it's as if that car accident never happened.

What Xander doesn't know is that Sarah is keeping a huge secret from him, but she thinks she is doing it for his own good. Sarah doesn't want Xander going to jail for killing Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), so if he doesn't know how duplicitous Philip is, that's a good thing. When Philip interrupts their dinner to talk business, Sarah starts feeling nervous but makes sure to keep her mouth shut. Xander can never know that Philip has no right to Titan at all.
