Tate (Leo Howard) may have been late for his date with Holly (Ashley Puzemis) at the Horton cabin, but he is there now, and the teens intend to make the best of their time together. While Holly still has Doug's (Peyton Meyer) words on her mind, Tate is the boy she wants now and she's waited for this night for what seems like forever.

Holly and Tate tried to share their first night together at the Salem Inn after the prom, but Theresa (Emily O'Brien) found them and put a stop to that. Holly never expected not to be the first person Tate ever had sex with, but she put her hurt feelings away and is ready to take the next step.

Holly and Tate make love for the first time as Doug III longs for Holly from the Horton house. He even confides in JJ (Casey Moss), but will JJ have the right love life advice for young Doug? The boy is smitten with Holly but determined not to interfere with her romance with Tate.

Run-ins with "Rafe"

Arnold (Galen Gering) is still walking around Salem with a swagger thinking he can impersonate Rafe forever — or at least until EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) pays him enough money and he can skip town. The problem is he does not make a very good Rafe because he is not nice enough.

Rafe has run-ins with both Jada (Elia Cantu) and Belle (Martha Madison) on Tuesday. Jada already thinks Rafe is acting strange, especially after he dumped her at the altar. However, Belle has not encountered this new version of Rafe. She is left quite puzzled after their discussion.

The Rafe who Belle knows isn't loud and crass. He is professional and by the book — most of the time. Now, he's rude and doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks of him. Will Belle bring these concerns to the new man in her life? We're sure EJ will brush it off and have multiple excuses for why Rafe has been acting so strange since New Year's Eve.
