Days of our Lives spoilers, February 11: Will Body and Soul finally be canceled?

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Now that Abe (James Reynolds) knows who has been sabotaging Body and Soul and her reasons for doing so, he starts to rethink his decision to reboot the classic soap opera. It was a passion project for Abe and Kate (Lauren Koslow), but everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Between drama behind the scenes, near-dead cast members, and a gossip column that gave away secrets and spoilers, Body and Soul seemed doomed from the start. Nurse Whitley's (Kin Coles) reason for sabotaging the soap was so it remained what it once was and not what Abe and Kate were turning it into.

Does that factor into Abe and Kate's decision to get the cast and crew together at the hospital to talk about Body and Soul's fate? Are they about to give up on their ill-fated dream that brought nothing but trouble? That would leave a lot of hurt cast members, as well as a writer who might have to become a gossip columnist again. How will the cast react to Abe and Kate's big news?

Stephanie's love life

There are few Salemites who have as calamitous a love life as Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Since moving back to Salem more than two years ago, nothing seems to have worked out for Stephanie. She's tried romance with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), Chad (Billy Flynn), Everett (Blake Berris), and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). Each relationship ended in disaster, but Stephanie is circling back to Alex, wondering if they should give it another go.

Stephanie confides in Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who just wants to see her daughter happy. Will Kayl have any good advice for Stephanie? Maybe she will tell Stephanie to try being alone for a bit and not jump into anything new right away. After all, Alexis is technically involved with someone else.

That someone else is Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), and she has a proposition for Alex. Is she willing to give him up so he can be with Stephanie, or is Joy ready to fight to hold onto a man who only has eyes for someone else?
