Chanel (Raven Bowens) happily babysat her niece and nephew Jules and Carver so Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) could attend Doug's (Bill Hayes) memorial. It was a sad occasion, but that doesn't mean the sisters aren't excited to see one another. Lani makes one more visit to Doug's grave before leaving Salem, but she also spends some bonding time with her little sister.

Little does Chanel know that her husband is still losing his mind with guilt. Johnny (Carson Boatman) once again clashes with EJ when looking for advice. Forever a liar, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) wants Johnny to keep his secret. What Chanel doesn't know won't hurt her. However, Johnny knows secrets have a way of coming out. Isn't it easier to tell Chanel the truth before she learns it another way? She won't be happy, but she might eventually be more forgiving.

Perhaps all of Johnny's problems will soon disappear. Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) is ready to say goodbye to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), but he and Johnny have words right in the DiMera living room. Will Joy give up her new job to save Johnny and Chanel's marriage, or will Alex convince her to stay?

The race to bring down Clyde is on

As soon as Chad (Billy Flynn) heard from Clyde Weston (James Read) on Thanksgiving, he and Cat (AnnaLynn McCord) sprung into action while recruiting JJ (Casey Moss) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) along the way. They didn't even stick around Salem long enough to learn that Doug had died, making Chad and JJ conspicuously absent from his funeral.

Now, the foursome hopes that they can finally bring down the elusive Clyde Weston once and for all, especially Cat, who only wants to bring her mother home safely. Cat and Chad lay low on Friday as they get ready to pounce.

They don't think Clyde expects multiple people to come after him, but Clyde always seems to stay ahead of the game. Will Chad and Cat get caught before they accomplish anything, or will Salemites finally be rid of Clyde Weston for good?
