Although Tate (Leo Howard) was fond of Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) and had sex with her, his heart had really been with Holly (Ashley Puzemis) the whole time. After he called out Holly's name while with Sophia, she realized that and broke things off. Now, Holly and Tate are back together, and think it will be smooth sailing from now on.

Unfortunately, life has a little habit of getting in the way of happiness — especially soap opera happiness. Sophia has a big announcement to make that will change everything in an instant.

Sophia visits Tate at John's (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena's (Deidre Hall) place and tells him that she's pregnant. The news rocks Tate's entire world. He is still in high school and never planned on anything like this happening. He asks Sophia is she is sure about this, which just serves to anger Sophia.

How will Tate deal with a pregnant teenage ex and his current girlfriend while still having his life work out? Will Holly break up with him over this even though she knows all about what happened between Tate and Sophia? Perhaps Tate needs to turn to his hapless father, Brady (Eric Martsolf), for advice.

Julie's accusations

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) can tell that JJ (Casey Moss) is getting close to Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) again and she doesn't like it one bit. Gabi and Julie have never gotten along, and things became worse when Gabi tried to control Julie's pacemaker with an app and nearly gave Julie a heart attack — quite literally.

JJ tries playing it cool and doesn't let on how he feels, but Julie is no fool and fears JJ is going to get himself in trouble again. Gabi is bound to hurt him like she hurts everyone — at least in Julie's mind.

Meanwhile, Gabi seems to be in as much denial as JJ, but Javi can tell there is more going on between his cousin and JJ than meets the eye. As they talk some more, Javi (Al Calderon) realizes the extent of Gabi's feelings for JJ. Will he decide to do something to help move this little romance along?
