What to expect on Days of our Lives
Belle (Martha Madison) wasn't expecting to appear before a judge so soon when she returned to Salem, but Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) came calling and Belle has rarely been able to say no when Philip needs something. Plus, the idea of sticking it to Xander (Paul Telfer) after he tried to kill Brady (Eric Martsolf) was very appealing.

With Brady not cooperating, Belle has a different strategy. She is sure that Xander's various threats against Brady will sway the judge in Phillip's direction, so she calls Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to testify and hopes Sarah will reveal what she knows about Xander's actions.
As expected, Sarah is on her husband's side and doesn't want to give away what Xander did. She managed to get Jada (Elia Cantu) to stop the murder attempt because she didn't want Xander to go to jail for life. Sarah certainly doesn't want to give away anything in a court of law, but she's under oath and may not have a choice.
Will Sarah be able to sidestep Belle's questions and win the case for Xander remaining the Titan CEO while keeping him out of prison?
The judge makes a decision
Sarah is not the only person testifying at this hearing, so the judge listens to arguments for and against both Philip and Xander. All Philip really has on his side is a letter that he claims is from Victor (John Aniston), which is not actually real. Xander has an actual legal document on his side. However, he also has a very questionable past that could work against him. Belle does her best to bring it to light, but does she succeed?
The judge is set to make a big decision by the end of the hour. The consequences will be far-reaching and cause more problems for the Kiriakis family than anyone has bargained for. If the judge rules in Philip's favor, it will be on false pretenses, as Philip presented fake evidence while conspiring with Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).
If the judge rules in Xander's favor, Philip will likely be on a revenge tour, so Xander will have to watch his back. Philip doesn't want to share anything with his newfound brother and will do anything to get what he believes is rightfully his.
