What to expect on Days of our Lives

Salem's very own soap opera heats up backstage as Kate and Abe's version of Body and Soul brings on the drama between its stars.

When Chanel learns she will have to do a love scene with Alex, she is stunned, but it's all in a day's work for an actress, right? How will Johnny feel about his wife faking intimacy with a man she once slept with as part of a threesome with Johnny's twin sister, Allie?

Alex and Chanel also have to pose for some steamy pictures that clearly make Johnny uncomfortable. Johnny is not even sure how he is going to direct scenes between his wife and another man.

Will Chanel and Johnny's new soap opera job spell trouble in paradise for the newlyweds? They have already been through so much since their wedding earlier this year, including a tragic miscarriage, as well as nearly moving across the country for Johnny's career. He gave up his dream to help Chanel through her recovery from the miscarriage, and now he's pursuing his dream of directing right in Salem, USA. Johnny and Chanel have one of the strongest relationships in Salem, but can they find a way to deal with jealousy and Chanel's past?

Catfight time?

What proper soap opera could survive without two divas having a catfight? Bonnie and Hattie may be ex-cons who served time in Statesville together, but now they are enjoying a second act as soap stars—with egos.

When Hattie and Bonnie clash over a sequinned gown, all hell breaks loose. The two women were once best friends who would get drunk and laugh together. Now, neither one wants to share the spotlight with the other.

Kate and Abe know they have to find a way for their two leading ladies to get along, or their creative business venture can turn into a disaster. They were determined to rescue their favorite soap opera but didn't realize they'd be dealing with egos on the set. Can anyone take Hattie and Bonnie aside to calm them down before things turn ugly?
