Days of our Lives spoilers, April 8: Tate learns what Holly's been up to with Doug

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Tate (Leo Howard) is determined to make things right with Holly (Ashley Puzemis), but he refuses to answer his texts. So, Tate decides he needs to just how up and see her in person. What he doesn't expect is to find Doug III (Peyton Meyer) in her room, clad in only his underwear. Holly asked Doug not to open the door to anyone, but Tate just barged right in.

Doug is not complaining about Tate and Holly's breakup. In fact, he is quite pleased about it. That means he now has a chance with Holly. Will he tell Tate that everything is innocent and he's just been sleeping on Holly's bedroom floor?

Even if he does, the damage could already be done. Tate has hated all the time Holly has been spending with Doug. Knowing Holly took the young man in could be the nail in the coffin of his and Holly's relationship. Holly knows where Tate is headed, so does she rush home to try to smooth things over? She might be too late...

The suspects line up

Everyone who has had a beef with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) over the last few months is now acting suspicious, but that doesn't mean they also won't start hurling accusations. Former sister-in-laws Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) go at it on Tuesday, each trading barbs as they try to figure out what the other one has been up to.

Gabi is furious with EJ for kidnapping Rafe (Galen Gering) and upending his life. Yes, last year, she was enjoying a torrid affair with EJ, but now she wants him dead. She even proved that when she showed up in the DiMera living room with a gun a few weeks ago during an important luncheon. She didn't pull the trigger then, but did she do it now?

Kristen is almost sure that EJ did something nefarious with her mother, so she also has a motive to kill her brother. But did she do it, or do Kristen and Gabi hurl false accusations at one another?
