What to expect on Days of our Lives
Chanel (Raven Bowens) was so excited picking out baby clothes and baby furniture that she didn't notice her husband was less-than-thrilled about the idea of adopting Tate (Leo Howard) and Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) baby. So, she is blindsided when he tells her that he is not sure he can go ahead with the adoption.
Things go from bad to worse when Tate and Sophia show up with a gift for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel. They are so grateful that the young couple wants to give their baby a good home that they are ready to celebrate with them. However, the celebration turns to sadness when they see the looks on Johnny and Chanel's faces. Something has gone terribly wrong, so it may be time to leave Johnny and Chanel alone.
Tate and Sophia also spend some alone time together. Holly (Ashley Puzemis) witnesses how close they are getting and turns to Doug III (Peyton Meyer), who finds himself in trouble once again.
Philip's fallout
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) has not yet had to deal with the wrath of Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) after Xander (Paul Telfer) learned about the forged letter. However, when Maggie gets hold of him, it's time for him to face his stepmother and cop to wrongdoing.
Maggie lays into Philip for his duplicity. Victor (the late John Aniston) would have wanted Philip to have an inheritance, but not like this. He would have been ashamed that Philip helped Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) forge a letter so he could steal from his own brother. Will Philip even be able to defend himself against Maggie's very true words?
Meanwhile, Xander is still reeling from everything Vivian and Philip did. He still has no idea that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) had known the truth for months and refuses to come clean about her part in this whole mess.
