What to expect on Days of our Lives
All it took was a little coaxing from his mama, Belle's (Martha Madison) miracle touch, and Kayla's (Mary Beth Evans) pulling back on the meds that put him in a coma for EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) to finally open his eyes. Belle and Susan (Stacy Haiduk) are thrilled when EJ wakes, but they will both have lots of questions for the man who was just shot.
EJ could hear Belle telling him that she loved him, but will that be his focus when he finally opens his eyes? He did see the person who shot him right before the bullets were fired, but that does not mean he will remember what happened immediately. Perhaps he blocked things out.
Rafe (Galen Gering) has video of the moment, but something keeps getting in the way of him watching what happened. Will EJ remember who shot him before Rafe manages to solve this crime? Perhaps EJ knows who shot him and will decide to keep it a secret. It could be someone he is trying to protect...
Good news for Tate and Sophia?
Tate (Leo Howard) and Sophia (Rachel Boyd) spend some more time together before the big Salem University Hospital carnival starts. As they meet with Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) again, they might finally get the news they have been waiting for.
Tate and Sophia are desperate to find someone to adopt their baby, but so far, Sophia's mother has not approved of their choice of parents. Is all that about to change? Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) has taken a liking to Paulina, but she has to be assured that EJ will have absolutely no part in the baby's life.

Johnny (Carson Boatman) is set to have some mixed emotions on Tuesday. Does he learn that he and Chanel can adopt Tate and Sophia's baby, but then think about his life with his own parents? Is his estrangement from his father the only thing that is allowing him to be a father now? Johnny has a lot to think about as he learns that his father is awake and will likely be like his old self again soon.
