What to expect on Days of our Lives
It's the moment of truth for both Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) as Sami has to relive a traumatic experience from her life as she tells a sordid tale from her own point of view. So far, all Johnny has heard is that his father sexually assaulted his mother, which resulted in his conception, but he has never heard what Sami has to say about it.
After a mother-son reunion, Sami finally decides to tell her son what happened that night long ago — and how she managed to forgive EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) for what he had done. Johnny doesn't understand how Sami could have fallen in love with EJ, married him, and had another child with him, so it's time for Sami to make her son see that life isn't always black and white.
It's an emotional time for both Sami and Johnny as they both have to come to terms with something that happened more than two decades ago. It was something that Sami had wanted to keep buried in the past, but she is learning the hard way that secrets always find a way of coming out. Will Sami be able to get Johnny to understand his father better?
Vivian wants in on the money
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) are happily celebrating their DiMera Enterprises coup when Vivian (Louise Sorel) appears out of nowhere in the Kiriakis room. Since she was the mastermind behind this whole forged letter plan, they should have expected her back sooner or later.
Vivian is thrilled that their plan has worked out better than she ever expected. Her "son" Philip, now owns DiMera Enterprises, and she wants in on the celebration — and the money and power. Philip and Kate know that Vivian's presence will arouse suspicions, so they need to get rid of her.
