Days of our Lives fans may finally get their wish next May when Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso return to the soap as beloved pair Bo and Hope Brady.
A Bo and Hope happily ever after?
When we last saw Bo and Hope in 2023, Hope had just learned Bo was alive after he'd allegedly died in her arms back in 2015. Bo had also just remembered his love for Hope when their son, Shawn-Douglas, shot his father, believing Bo was a danger to Shawn's mother.
Bo has been lingering in a coma in Greece ever since, with Hope by his side, praying for him to wake. Meanwhile, fans have been clamoring for another comeback so Bo and Hope can finally get the happy ending they hoped for last year.

Days of our Lives brings back fan faves
Reckell and Alfonso are back on the Days of our Lives set, filming the story arc that will air next year. On September 19, Reckell tweeted a photo of himself and Alfonso on the set of the Brady Pub.
"When you have worked together as long as we have, it’s like riding a bike on the beach! So much fun!" Reckell shared, along with the snap of himself and Alfonso in character as Bo and Hope.
On the morning of September 20, Alfonso shared a backstage video on Instagram of Hope wearing an A-line gray dress with a plaid pattern. In the video, we see Alfonso exiting her DAYS dressing room and happily walking (and twirling) down the hall, all dressed for a day of bringing Hope to life.
"Starting the day with a #smile & a #spin or maybe a #twirl 💃🏻lol :)," Alfonso captioned the video.
Will Bo and Hope celebrate their love?
With Reckell and Alfonso on the Brady Pub set, it's safe to say that Bo and Hope likely make it back to Salem during their new storyline. It will be almost ten years since the couple had scenes together in their hometown.
Reckell and Alfonso made their debuts as Bo and Hope in 1983, solidifying themselves as a supercouple the next year during an epic New Orleans location shoot. In 1985, they married on another location shoot in England, where the queen threw them their very own (fictional) royal wedding.
Alfonso is expected back on-screen in December when Hope returns to Salem without Bo to say goodbye to her father, Doug Williams, played by the late Bill Hayes, who passed away in January.
