Coming up on Days of our Lives

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) discovers that her mother is alive and Big Rachel (Roslyn Gentle) is the person who helped Little Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) keep Ava (Tamara Braun) hostage at Aremid. Mother and daughter share their version of a tender reunion while Ava remains tied to a wheelchair and gagged. It seems Kristen and her mother have a lot to catch up on and Ava is the least of their concerns at the moment.

However, that doesn't mean that Brady (Eric Martsolf) is still not worried about Ava as he enlists Steve (Stephen Nichols) to help find her. Will one-half of Black Patch come to Ava's rescue?

EJ's close call?

After Jada (Elia Cantu) corners him not far from where he is keeping the real Rafe (Galen Gering), does EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) decide he needs to hide Rafe somewhere else? EJ is determined to keep this little game going to he has to alter his plan.

He injects his prisoner and gets Rafe into a body bag that he drags all the way to Aremid, which is suddenly only a few minutes away. Will EJ find anything — or anyone — unusual when he gets there? Aremid has not seen this much activity in years.

The mayor means business

After the revelations at Jada and "Rafe's" wedding, Mayor Paulina (Jackee Harry) has some big decisions to make. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) has presented her with some interesting information that will not affect Belle's (Martha Madison) career, which was exactly what EJ wanted when he started this plot.

However, EJ had not counted on falling for Belle and resuming their sexual relationship when he had set out to steal her job. What will Belle do when she learns that the whole reason she isn't district attorney anymore is because of the man she has been sleeping with? Perhaps when she told a room full of women that EJ was her biggest mistake, she should not have made that mistake again.
