Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) are ready to make a Valentine's date but that doesn't mean all will go as planned. Expect to see the debut of Rachel Boyd in the role of Sophia Choi as Madelyn Kientz exited the soap. Sophia looks to be up to her old tricks, trying to come between Holly and Tate with her neediness. She always seems to interrupt Holly and Tate during important moments.
At least Holly has Doug III (Peyton Meyer) to keep her company when Tate is otherwise indisposed. Did he already get his bad news from Leo about his new job? Perhaps Holly will have a better employment idea for her new friend. so he can finally give Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) back her diamond necklace.
A Horton Square encounter
Tate takes off with Sophia, and the pair runs into Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) in Horton Town Square. Do they discuss Sophia's pregnancy and their hopes to give the baby up for adoption?
Perhaps seeing Sophia and Tate sparks Johnny and Chanel's latest discussion and decision. After their ill-fated pregnancy last year, Johnny and Chanel threw themselves into Body and Soul. He was the director, she was the young ingenue, and they thought they had everything they ever wanted. Now that the soap is relocating to Los Angeles and Johnny and Chanel are together again, they need a new focus. It looks like it's time for the young couple to expand their family.
