It won't be long now before beloved couple Bo and Hope are back on Days of our Lives and fans can't wait.
Back to the beginning for Bo and Hope
DAYS super fan and X (formerly Twitter) user @marino_angie posted a video clip of Bo and Hope's first motorcycle ride way back in 1983. In the scene, Hope had just returned to Salem from boarding school and Bo had just come back from a stint in the merchant marines.

The two former childhood friends met up at Shenanigans one night and began flirting, although Bo considered 17-year-old Hope too young for him. Despite that, he took her home on his motorcycle, and soap opera history was made.
Angie juxtaposed the brief clip with a scene from 2023 when Hope learned Bo was alive after he allegedly died in her arms in 2015. Shawn had just shot his father, thinking that he was going to hurt Hope, landing Bo in a coma. Hope then fantasized about what life would be like if she and Bo had a true romantic reunion.
Actress Kristian Alfonso saw the clip and re-posted it, saying, "Momma Mia. Seems like I blinked & it all began just yesterday. Thanks for sharing this @marino_angie."
A new Days of our Lives future for Hope's forever hero
Peter Reckell, who has made no secret of his desire to return to DAYS over the last few years, spotted Alfonso's post and dropped a little tease for what's to come this spring.
"Beginning of an amazing adventure that will continue soon," he wrote, much to the excitement of fans.
That adventure took Bo and Hope (and Reckell and Alfonso) all over the world to places like New Orleans, Miami, Greece, and London. Fans thought their 2023 return would give the couple their long-awaited happily ever after, but it wasn't meant to be, as Alfonso recently explained.
"The story that was going to be told was that Hope would return to Salem, Bo and Hope would return to Salem to reunite — even after the shooting, he would be fine, and all these good things were going to happen and we would reunite with our families," Alfonso told Soap Opera Digest.
Sadly, that story never made it into the final script. However, Alfonso shared a photo of herself and Reckell on The Brady Pub set in September, so it appears Bo and Hope may get their happy ending this spring.
