Emmy Award-winning producer and composer of Days of our Lives, Ken Corday, announces a piano concert series to benefit SAG/AFTRA Foundation in Burbank.

The Emmy award-winning producer and composer of Days of our Lives will be performing a solo piano concert series for three nights only to benefit the SAG-AFTRA Foundation at the Garry Marshall Theatre in Burbank on Oct 23, 25, and 26, 2024.

Ken Corday returns to the stage with a second annual benefit concert series following a sold-out first run last fall. “Songs Without Words” will feature a new collection of completely original works.

Ken will again perform some of his own original music with surprise special guests introducing him each evening.

All proceeds from ticket sales for the concert series will go to benefit the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program, which provides financial aid to SAG-AFTRA artists who are experiencing extreme or unexpected financial hardships.

“I am so thrilled to be able to, once again, share my own music with the world,” said Ken Corday, per Peacock. “Music has always been a great passion of mine, and the opportunity to share the different styles of contemporary American piano compositions I’ve been working on while also benefiting a cause close to my heart is nothing short of a dream. I hope my music brings as much joy to the hearts of all those that listen, as it does for me to perform it.”

In 1977, Ken launched his composing career in television, specifically for Days of our Lives, where he continues to compose the show's music. He’s earned six Emmy Awards for music composition.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Emergency Assistance Program provides a lifeline to SAG-AFTRA artists facing extreme financial hardship. "Emergency aid helps our performers keep roofs over their heads, pay medical expenses, buy groceries, and keep the lights on, providing them with safety, courage, and hope."

Tickets may be purchased for $60 through the Garry Marshall ticketing office. Call (818) 955-8101 for more information, or visit the theater’s website.
