On Days of our Lives, the Woman in White has been around for years, and she’s about to make a comeback. On her social media this week, Australian actress Ros Gentle shared that her first appearance will be this Friday.
The Woman in White on Days of our Lives
Mid-90s viewers of DAYS fans will recall “The Woman in White,” aka Rachel Blake, Kristen DiMera’s mother who lived in the Blake house, haunted Aremid, and tried to kill Jennifer Horton a couple of times, and saved John from a death sentence for “killing” Tony DiMera.

Brady and Kristen’s daughter was named Rachel after her grandmother. Last week, viewers saw the young girl agree to therapy after being caught harassing Ava, but she wasn’t being sincere. Rachel told her mom what she wanted to hear, grabbed her backpack, and hit the road.
On Friday, we’ll find out where Rachel has gone. Somehow, she’s made her way to being with The Woman in White, but this time, Roslyn Gentle will play the role.
Rachel may be safe in her grandmother’s care, but Ava is not. Rachel was trying to break up her dad’s relationship and felt that the bad behavior that was getting her in trouble was warranted. Will The Woman in White agree — and help Rachel with her cause? Once they have Ava with them, is she in danger?
Who is Roslyn Gentle?
Actor Roslyn “Ros” Gentle was born in the very small town of Gulong in New South Wales, Australia. According to her bio on IMDb, she was a school teacher in Sydney while singing in folk clubs and wine bars in her spare time. She studied acting, “discovered her true calling,” and went back to school, attending the National Institute for Dramatic Art (NIDA).
She is experienced in all areas of the performing arts and has also coached, produced, and directed. When she was in Australia, Ros was mostly on TV and was perhaps best known for her portrayals of Laura Gardiner and Brandy Carter on Prisoner (Cell Block H).
Ros is no stranger to soaps, having been on Australia’s Neighbours, as well as The Young and the Restless, where she played Judge Linda Franklin. Viewers will remember her who took compassion on Phyllis for killing Jeremy Stark while faking her death in 2023, much to the dismay of Christine Williams.
