It looks like "Bope" fans' dreams are coming true as Days of our Lives is bringing back iconic favorites Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso as Bo Brady and Hope Williams Brady.
According to TV Insider, Reckell and Alfonso are already back on set, taping scenes that won't air until May of 2025, two years after they last aired when Hope discovered her beloved Bo was alive.

"[It's] just like riding a bike," Reckell told TV Insider of bringing Bo to life again. "And thank goodness they keep one at the ready for me in Salem. This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love. Stay tuned!"
Alfonso is also excited to play Hope again and make new magic with her longtime on-again/off-again co-star.
"There is a saying I love: 'Life takes you to unexpected places but love always brings you home,'" she said. "Anyone who knows me knows how grateful I am to have all of you supporting me and welcoming me back when I’m back in Salem. These episodes with Pete will not disappoint."
Does that mean Bo and Hope will finally get their long-awaited ride into the sunset? When Reckell and Alfonso last appeared on DAYS in 2023, Hope had only just found Bo again before he was shot (by their son Shawn-Douglas) and fell into a coma. Hope has been by Bo's side off-screen in a Greek hospital ever since.
"Fancy Face" and "Brady" together again
Bo and Hope became a soap opera phenomenon in the early 1980s, sailing off into the sunset with their baby in 1987. Bo has often referred to Hope as "Fancy Face," and she has often called him "Brady."
Reckell and Alfonso have come and gone through the years. From 2015 until 2023, Hope believed Bo had died of a brain tumor, but she later learned Megan DiMera had kept Bo cryogenically frozen for years.
Alfonso already taped scenes earlier this year for Hope's return to Salem after the death of her beloved father. The memorial episodes for Bill Hayes and his longtime character, Doug Williams, will air in December of this year.
