Days of our Lives star Patrika Darbo is bringing Nancy Wesley back to Salem this fall.

Darbo had hinted at a return in a July Instagram video, but now TV Insider has confirmed the news.
"I think you will be surprised to see I will be airing in October," Darbo said at the time. "And you won't know what it's about but it's going to be a lot of fun."
According to TV Insider, Nancy will be involved with the Body & Soul soap-within-a-soap story that's currently airing. Nancy will make her way back to her old Salem stomping grounds with someone she feels will be perfect for the Body & Soul cast.
As of now, Chanel, Alex, Paulina, and Hattie have landed roles on Salem's own soap opera. Kate and Abe now own Body & Soul, Leo Stark will serve as head writer, and Johnny DiMera is directing. Who will Nancy bring to this humorous plot?
Nancy's life in 2022
The last time we saw Nancy, she had just split with her longtime husband, Craig. Nancy first knew that Craig had fallen for someone else—but was stunned to discover the person he planned to marry was Leo Stark. Craig admitted he was gay, something that shocked the college sweetheart he married.
Nancy then entered into a romance with bad guy Clyde Weston and was devastated to learn he was a cold-blooded killer.
A broken-hearted Nancy soon ran into her old frenemy Mike Horton in Horton Town Square. They hit it off like they never had before when Craig and Mike had been vying for top spots at University Hospital, and Mike and Nancy ended up returning to New York together.
Whether or not Nancy and Mike became romantically involved has never been confirmed, but could she think her new pal would be perfect for the cast of Body & Soul? After all, every soap opera needs an older doctor in the cast. Perhaps Nancy arrives with her daughter Chloe, who already has performing experience, thanks to her singing career.
With October not far away, it won't be long until fans learn what Nancy has really been up to.
