In 2015, Days of our Lives' forever hero, Bo Brady, learned he had a brain tumor just after returning to Salem and reuniting with Hope. Just a few days later, he died in Hope's arms in the same spot where they shared their first kiss in 1983. In 2022, everything changed.

During the second installment of Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, Bo Brady watched Hope's life from heaven and willed her not to marry Harris Michaels, who was brainwashed by Megan Hathaway to kill Hope. After Hope was shot, she ascended to heaven, where she reunited with Bo, but Bo was able to send her back to earth.

Not long after Hope was revived, so was Bo. He opened his eyes in a cryogenic chamber, but it wasn't until 2023 that we found out what had happened. Megan had been obsessed with Bo since they first dated in high school in the 1970s and had him cryogenically frozen in a DiMera lab in Caracas. After Bo was revived, Megan brainwashed him into becoming her minion, carrying out her dastardly deeds.

After Bo escaped to Greece to learn more about his former life, he came across a book that detailed his Kiriakis lineage. That's when he ran into his sister Kayla, who did everything she could to make Bo whole again. However, he needed Hope's love for that.

Hope couldn't believe her eyes when her beloved "Brady" appeared before her eyes. She tried to embrace him immediately, but he pulled away and didn't seem to remember their love. Hope did everything she could to reach the love of her life, even after Bo brought her to the top of a cliff and held her at gunpoint.

Hope refused to give up as Bo told her he couldn't be the man she wanted him to be. He knew his biological father was criminal Victor Kiriakis, and he felt he was dealt the same fate and could never be good again. Just as Hope finally got Bo to remember who he was inside and he called her Fancy Face, a shot rang out, and Bo slumped to the ground.

Bo and Hope's son, Shawn-Douglas, thought his mother was in danger, so he shot his father. Bo was rushed to the hospital and nearly died again while Hope dreamed of a romantic reunion. He soon slipped into a coma, where he remains today.

Hope has been by Bo's side in Greece ever since, willing him to wake up. With Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso set to return to Salem as Bo and Hope next spring, Hope's wish looks like it will come true in 2025.
