Some of your favorite Days of our Lives characters have certainly made the naughty list this year with questionable behavior and downright dirty acts. See who Soap Central has chosen as 2024's Salem coal recipients.

Clyde Weston

What did Clyde do that makes him not worthy of a lump of coal? He certainly didn't do anything altruistic or nice and never, ever does. He started his year forcing Ava and Stefan to run drugs out of The Bistro, then moved on to kidnapping and nearly killing Tripp and Wendy, all to get Ava to do his bidding.

However, the worst thing Clyde did was get someone to pretend to be Abigail DiMera and make her family believe that Abby had returned from the dead. He did this all while keeping the imposter's mother prisoner. When the holiday season began with Clyde receiving a gunshot wound to his chest, fans felt it was well-deserved. But how about delivering some coal to Clyde's hospital room, where he now lingers in a coma?

EJ DiMera

EJ's determination to hang onto Nicole led him to commit some questionable acts, but some may see the behavior as EJ reverting to form. After all, EJ has always been a shades-of-grey character who tows a fine moral line. In 2024, he mourned the son he thought he had with Nicole. However, when he learned that the baby was alive and that he wasn't the father, he let Nicole go on believing her child had died.

When the truth came out, EJ wasn't done. He didn't want to see Eric and Nicole find happiness together, so he threatened to tell Holly that Eric was the drunk driver responsible for her father's death. EJ and coal should go well together this Christmas season.

Kristen DiMera

Kristen never does anything worthy of thoughtful and loving gifts for Christmas, so why should this year be any different? Sure, Brady might want to thank her for stealing his car so it couldn't be used as evidence in Sarah's hit-and-run case, but Brady didn't exactly ask Kristen to break the law on his behalf.

Kristen also withheld a Dr. Rolf Special from Sarah, a serum that could make her walk again. She would have allowed Sarah to be paralyzed for life if Xander hadn't ended his vendetta against Brady and helped clear Brady's name. Now, Kristen is at it again — and it's all for Brady. She is making sure Brady doesn't get to see Rachel to get back at him for not wanting her and dating Ava instead. Yes, Kristen should wake up to coal on Christmas morning.

Johnny DiMera

Unlike his father and his aunt, Johnny doesn't mean to hurt anyone. He just keeps doing it anyway. Johnny let his jealousy get the best of him in 2024 when he accused Chanel of still having feelings for Alex, a man she once had a threesome with when living with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Chanel was nice enough to forgive her husband for that, but then he took it a step further.

Believing Chanel and Alex had sex in a hospital bed while "rehearsing" for Body and Soul, Johnny went out and had revenge sex with Joy Wesley. When Johnny learned he made a major mistake, Chanel still forgave his accusations. Odds are she won't forgive his secrets, lies, and cheating ways. In fact, she might want to stick some coal in her hubby's stocking.

Philip Kiriakis

Philip barreled back into Salem, claiming he was Victor's rightful heir. He had a letter proving that Victor really wanted to leave him in control of Titan while leaving his newfound brother, Xander, out in the cold.

The problem is, the letter is a forgery, and Philip is in cahoots with Vivian Alamain. Philip even brought the letter into a court of law and entered false evidence. Now, Philip and Xander have been ordered to run Titan together. When Xander learns the truth, he is going to want to give Xander a whole lot more than coal.
