Of course, Gwen isn't forthcoming with Jake nor is she when telling the tale of the letter's discovery to Chad

Chad remains uneasy about Abigail's relationship with Jake, but Gwen gloats over the division and discord

Jake is all ears when Kate makes a confession, though things take a titillating turn when they can't deny their attraction to one another

As Kate and Jake are consumed by passion, keeping secrets from his wife consumes an on-edge Eli

Lani certainly notices that her husband and father are hiding something, and she wants them to confess their secrets

Believing in Xander's doubts about devilishly dimpled Philip even more, a sly Sarah secretly starts to snoop

Xander and Sarah's sleuthing pays off, and he presents his Uncle Victor with what he supposes is surefire evidence against Philip

Still, Philip has more trouble to contend with when his cryptic co-conspirator comes out of the shadows to reveal herself...

Back in Salem on risky business, Ava Vitali returns to ensure Philip's obedience, but he seems to have had enough of his problematic partner

A stunned Shawn says, "Yes!" when Belle bends to one knee and pops the question, but there's a big loony problem looming

Upon learning of Shawn and Belle's bliss, Jan pledges to ensure the happy couple doesn't exactly remain that way

After a comforting chat, Claire wonders if she and Theo could be happily coupled again and plants a kiss on her former flame

A cheerful Charlie is set on surprising his crush, Claire, with flowers but is crushed instead when he spots her kissing Theo
