It's a joyous reunion for Eric and Nicole as they finally make their way back into one another's arms

Still, Eric has some explaining to do about his life after he believed Nicole was gone -- namely, his relationship with Sarah

Though reunited with her true love, Nicole can't help but concern herself about Eric's feelings for Sarah

Eric urges Nicole to believe him when he says that she is his one true love, yet it may not be that easy for her to believe him

Eric and Nicole's happy reunion may have a nine-month expiration date, as Sarah has some big news...

Sidelined by the realization she's pregnant, Sarah isn't so sure she should tell Eric, since he's recently reunited with Nicole

Sarah is saddened but not shocked when Eric ends their relationship, and she decides to hold onto her secret for now

Sarah's big baby secret weighs heavy on her mind, but a knowing Xander may sway her decision about whether to tell Eric

Sarah also receives some guidance from a recently back-from-the-grave Vivian, who has a unique spin on things

Speaking of graves, after shooting Kate, Vivian blissfully buries her in the cemetery and leaves her for dead

Vivian feels victorious as she's finally rid herself of her most vicious adversary, but Kate can't be killed that easily...

Having been left buried alive, Kate claws her way out of her grave and staggers to University Hospital

The hospital staff are in horror as a dirty, bleeding Kate arrives, and they quickly attempt to save her

Kate's condition is dire, and calls are made to her loved ones as well as the police, who have their fair share of questions

Gabi suggests that she and Stefan call the cops on his mother dearest, but he detests that idea very much

Vivian does confess to Stefan and, later, fills him in on the startling secret that the job must be finished -- Kate must die

Vivian is like a murderous fox in the henhouse when she slinks into Kate's hospital room, unbeknownst to others

Ben is about to be murdered by Victor, but Brady walks in just in the nick of time for the former Necktie Killer

An infuriated Nicole wants to murder Kristen over what she's done to Nicole, and Eric hastily has to stop her from doing so

Kristen feels the hatred as Nicole rages, and, later, John puts Kristen on notice in hopes that she will leave his loved ones alone

Yet Kristen is always going to do what's best for her agenda, and she finds herself face to face with a downtrodden Brady

Brady and Kristen's confrontation does little for his broken psyche, and he contemplates slipping into old, dangerous habits

A heartbroken Doug continues to sit at his bride's side, and Hope must relay Julie's dire diagnosis to him

Salemites are brokenhearted as concern for Julie runs high...and so do tempers as Ciara and Gabi lash out at one another

Jennifer's heart skips a beat every time she believes she's closer to getting the "Old Jack" back in her life

Eve, on the other hand, assures that Jack will not get a "happily ever after" and does dirty deeds to ensure that

Jack, along with J.J., plays "Let's Make a Deal" with Dr. Rolf while Eve has an idea in mind and must deal with Vivian to achieve it

Dr. Rolf's special serum is set to end up in Jack's hands, but deliberate damage to his laboratory thwarts that plan, much to Jack and Jennifer's dismay
