Of course, Julie is more than happy to take part in Gabi's downfall, so she and Abigail form a plan...

Julie finds herself snooping around Gabi's room at the Kiriakis mansion, where she finds a smoking gun

An outraged Julie discovers that Chad -- not Stefan -- is Charlotte's father , but Julie's also discovered by Gabi

With no love lost between them, things get heated between Julie and Gabi, so much so that one of them could end up dead

Having warned Gabi that she's playing hardball, Abigail goes to Kayla's office to find proof of what Gabi's been up to

Abigail's actions become suspicious to others, while Stefan wants a little action with "Gabby," much to Abigail's chagrin

Stefan may soon learn the hard way that not all wishes can be granted, as his world starts to crumble a bit

Tripp shows his softer side as an emotional Kayla details the true story of Steve's absence from Salem

Kayla makes the call on a new hire at Salem University Hospital, which is great news for Maggie (and Sarah, of course)

Sarah continues to side with Eric regarding Holly's custody, and Maggie may even have a change of heart

An ecstatic Eric looks forward to raising Holly, but a letter from beyond the grave changes everything

Chloe receives a letter from Justin, indicating that Nicole wanted her to raise Holly in the event something should happen to her

With best pal Brady at her side, Chloe is shocked but excited at the prospect of raising Holly, after all

Thinking his life with Holly was about to begin, Eric is stunned by Nicole's letter to Chloe and lashes out

An irate Eric makes it known to Chloe and Brady that he will fight for Nicole's dying wish to be fulfilled, and that is for him to raise Holly

Sonny and Will remain irate over Leo's hold on their lives as Leo continues his plan to make Sonny his husband

Sonny and Will make an attempt to stop Leo, but, when their plans fail, Sonny finds himself walking down the aisle with Leo

It's less than a picture-perfect wedding at the Kiriakis mansion for Sonny and Leo as Leo is the only one smiling

Adrienne and several other of Sonny's loved ones make it clear to Leo that he is not welcomed into their family

Still, Leo has the upper hand, and the wedding commences with Sheila acting as the officiant for the ceremony

But like most weddings in Salem, there's drama as Sonny and Leo's nuptials are halted by a shocker

Having shocked Chloe with news that he's moving to Italy, Lucas says his goodbyes with more loved ones before leaving for good
