Rafe feels his connection to Hope shifting as she attempts to keep him in the dark about her involvement with Ted

Rafe wracks his brain to figure out what's going on with Hope, and Eli suggests that there might be another man

Rafe doesn't want to believe Hope is cheating, but when he stumbles upon a steamy scene, Rafe sees red

Rafe also doesn't want to believe anything bad about his sister, but is forced to ask some difficult questions

Kayla has a few questions for Gabi after discovering her leaving Kayla's office (not knowing Gabi has Abigail's original paternity test)

Gabi can't seem to get away with her crime, as she also runs into Chad while the evidence is hot in her hands

Gabi and Kate come to a joint conclusion and start a new scheme to take Stefan down once and for all

Wanting nothing more than to be with her family and make Gabi pay, Abigail schemes to gain her freedom

Abigail attempts to con Stefan into believing she is "Gabby" again, but he has his reservations and asks an ally for their opinion

Abigail's wish is granted as Stefan's love for "Gabby" helps set Abigail free from Bayview Sanitarium

Once on the outside, Abigail is more determined than ever to prove her sanity, and this time she has help from family

Remembering how much family matters to him, Brady extends an olive branch to brother Eric, but things don't end the way he expected

Eric is hopeful he will remain in Holly's life, though Maggie has her own agenda, although Sarah tries to persuade her otherwise

Chloe's life takes a sudden turn when Lucas returns to Salem and states that he's not staying for long

In fact, Lucas laments that he's going back to Europe to be with Allie and may not return to Salem

As Chloe struggles with Lucas' news, Lani continues to struggle with her feelings for Eli and seems too stubborn to admit she has them
