Marlena is confronted by her demented doppelgnger, and Hattie gets the upper hand

Hattie puts Marlena in a body bag and takes her to the only place they'll believe her crazy story -- a mental ward

Posing as Marlena, Hattie has the real Doc Evans locked up, and Marlena just may crack up with concern for herself and her loved ones

Though round one may go to Hattie, Anjelica may have double the troubles, keeping her two imposters from veering off the path

Anjelica may also encounter a troublesome scenario as Justin can't seem to stand her, even just a little bit

Paul finds it troubling that he just can't seem to help Sonny, but John suggests a scheme that might ensnare the real culprit

While John and Paul continue to see Victor as a suspect, Victor himself makes some suspicious moves

Victor remains firm that he'll move heaven and earth to ensure Sonny's release from jail

Jailbird Sonny receives a visit from Justin and Adrienne, just when he needs his parents the most

With the hopes of jailing Dario for his dirty deeds, Rafe and Hope must track down Rafe's badly behaved bro

Still hoping to destroy Kayla, Tripp is advised to play as dirtily as he has to in order to obtain his vengeance

A saddened Steve gets more dirt on Tripp's dodgy wrongdoings, but an unhinged Tripp already has a target on Kayla's back

While Kayla finds some comfort when her job situation takes a turn, the situation with Tripp saddens her deeply

Kayla feels Tripp's wrath as he unleashes his rage at his stepmother, asserting she killed his mother, Ava

An already shocked Kayla is even more stunned when Tripp takes her life into his hands

Steve in on hand as he attempts to reach Tripp, but the truth of Ava's death threatens to be revealed

Roman reaches out to Eric, knowing his son is struggling with his feelings for former flame Nicole

As Eric explains himself to Roman regarding Nicole, Brady still regards Eric as a threat to his relationship

It's complicated when Nicole and Maggie have a chat about the current affairs (and past loves) of Nicole's life

Nicole and Maggie's conversation doesn't go unnoticed (or unheard) by Brady, who later learns his lover is lying to him

Brady's in a bad way as his brother and lover seem to be heading down a road to reconciliation, but he may not know the entire story

While a heated Brady learns more, Kate makes it known just where she stands as she and John fight

Loved ones pray for Abigail as she fights for her life after saving Chad's from the car about to kill him

Chad has a hard time fighting his feelings for Abigail as doctors perform surgery in hopes of saving her

Beside themselves in grief, Jennifer, J.J., and Chad find a common place as they pray for Abigail's survival

J.J. also finds reassurance from Lani while Jennifer is happy to find Eric at her side, offering his support

Though everyone finds happiness that Abigail survived surgery, they're warned there's still a chance she may not pull through

A confused Chad learns that Abigail's "happily ever after" with Dario was a ruse for their green card marriage

Andre is unhappy with Chad when his little brother confesses that he will confess to murder once Abigail has stabilized

As Andre is ardently against Chad's choice, Chad's ultimate choice of Abigail or Gabi seems to become crystal clear

Relieved that Abigail seems to be strengthening, Chad pours his heart out to Abigail, expressing his undying love

Gabi dies a little inside when she hears Chad's heartfelt and passionate pledges to his former wife and love of his life
