Sonny remains firm that he must have killed Deimos, but even Commissioner Raines isn't so sure -- at first

Just when Sonny's claim seems to be too ambiguous to arrest him, the cater-waiter at the party comes forward as an eyewitness

J.J. is released when Sonny's pinpointed for the crime, but J.J. suspects his cousin isn't a cold-blooded killer

Though J.J. wants to prove Sonny's innocence, Commissioner Raines tells him to steer clear of the case

Determined, J.J. covertly joins Lani to investigate on the down-low, and Lani lands a lucky lead

Lani, J.J., Hope, and Rafe connect the dots and find themselves snooping around a hotel for answers

At the hotel, a scandalous clue may reveal the identity of the real killer, a blast from the not-so-recent past with a grudge on Deimos

Learning Sonny confessed to killing Deimos hits Adrienne hard, which causes her to collapse

Justin is there for Adrienne to assure her everything will be all right, but Lucas is taken aback when he witnesses that moment

While Justin and Adrienne's closeness is on Lucas' mind, Lucas remains firmly on smitten Anne's mind

A concerned Victor gives Sonny a piece of his mind for confessing to murder but also assures his nephew he will help him

As Paul also guarantees to stick close to Sonny, no matter what, Brady begins to mind the closeness between Nicole and Eric

Both Nicole and Eric begin to remember much more about the night they were drugged with Halo 2.0

Fuzzy, sporadic memories pull Nicole and Eric together, but Brady blasts them both for their actions

As Nicole's concern for her future with Brady bothers her, she also recalls a large sum of money and connects it to Dario

Nicole isn't the only one who picks up on Dario's suspicious behavior, as Hope raises her concerns about Dario to Abigail

Abigail certainly heeds Hope's warnings, especially after she makes a shocking discovery amongst her new husband's belongings

Further fueling the flames of concern, Abigail witnesses something rather shady and decides to take action against Dario

Knowing she has to learn the truth to protect herself, Thomas, and her family, Abigail bugs Dario's office

To stop Anjelica from further bugging Jennifer and Adrienne, Steve decides to sneak into Anjelica's room with Kayla's help to learn more about their foe's battle plans

Jade continues to be a pesky bug in Tripp's ear, but Tripp begins to recognize he's been trusting the wrong person

With Tripp losing faith in his roommate, a disturbed Jade again reaches out to Joey in hopes of a miraculous reconciliation

Joey's continued rejection pushes Jade to the brink, and she might be ready to blow up his family by exposing his role in Ava's death

Hoping to save his family, Steve digs into the "mistakes" Kayla made at the hospital, believing his Sweetness has been set up

Kayla's career concerns go from bad to worse just as Tripp's change of heart seems like it's going to happen

Prior to the panic about her position at the hospital, Kayla enjoys a night out with Marlena, Valerie, and Kate

Hope and Rafe also find themselves enjoying a little time together to toast their upcoming nuptials
