Though Nicole's not ready to forgive Eric, she realizes they need to stand united against Xander if they expect to escape

Xander breaks the cage back out, but it's Deimos who's feeling a bit cagey when his plans don't exactly run smoothly

Deimos "confronts" Xander and wants nothing more than to appear as Nicole's "white knight" rescuer

Though happy at the thought of being rescued, Nicole isn't so keen on having Deimos back in her life

Sonny and Paul attempt to provide proof to J.J. and Lani when they hand-deliver one of Deimos' henchmen

With a little luck and a lot of badgering, J.J. and Lani manage to get Deimos' henchman to turn on his boss

J.J., Lani, Eli, Hope, and others arrive at Xander's compound to really rescue Eric and Nicole as well as arrest Deimos for his crimes

Deimos doesn't want to go down without a fight, but being caught red-handed whips the smirk from his face

While Hope takes Deimos back to Salem, the others search for evidence, and Sonny believes this is his moment in the spotlight

Sonny urges Victor to put him in charge of all things Titan, and after learning Sonny's part in Deimos' capture, Victor agrees

Sonny may get his wish to become the new head of Titan, but he may not live long enough to enjoy his spoils...

While aboard the airplane headed back to Salem, Sonny, Paul, Chad, Gabi, Eli, Lani, and J.J. find themselves in a dire situation

The airplane crashes and strands the homebound Salemites on a remote, uncharted island, fighting for their lives

Realizing Dario's life is a mess, Rafe's concern for his little brother may grow when he learns what Dario's been dealing with

Joey may not need more convincing to cut Jade out of their lives after Kayla informs him what really happened with Alicia

Steve sweetly tries to soothe Kayla's concerns, but she's not convinced the problem with Jade is over and done with

With Jade continuing to convince Tripp that Kayla isn't so sweet, after all, he makes it his business to seek revenge on his stepmother

Faced with his mortality, Brady seeks an audience with John and Tate to share an emotional farewell

Marlena and other loved ones also spend time with Brady, believing these may be their last moments with him

Eric and Nicole are devastated when they learn that Brady's condition continues to worsen, and they long to be with him

Everyone is crushed when Brady's health continues to fade and he falls into a deep coma, barely clinging to life

While Daniel's heart barely beats in Brady's body, Daniel's sprit pays a visit to a loved one in their time of need

As all hope seems gone for Brady, things may take a turn when someone special sneaks into his room

Thinking she had found someone special, Ciara is completely crushed when she learns that Theo and Wyatt have been lying to her

Ciara has it out with Wyatt and Theo but is further shocked to learn Theo never read the heartfelt letter she wrote to him

Ciara and Claire find themselves clashing, as well, but Ciara seems to have reached her boiling point with her life as is

Needing to start anew and away from so much drama, Ciara stuns Hope by letting her know she's leaving Salem
