Days of our Lives, Monday, February 17

Tate (Leo Howard) was surprised when Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) offered to adopt his and Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) baby. Tate couldn't give them an answer right away but stressed that Sophia's mom wanted the baby to go to a good, church-going family. Johnny and Chanel wondered if the DiMeras would fit the bill.

Tate made it to the Horton cabin to find Hollyn (Ashley Puzemis) standing there in lingerie with Doug III (Peyton Meyer). Doug had just finished confessing to Holly how he felt about her after reading poetry. Doug quickly left so Holly and Tate could be alone together. Holly wasn't sure how to feel when Tate told her about Johnny and Chanel's offer.

Valentine's Day continued on Salem's mainland, where Javi and Leo bonded over a football game, and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) told one another about their childhood vacations. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) also had a romantic night but Kayla worried about Stephanie's love life.

Tuesday, February 18

Doug III confided in JJ (Casey Moss) that he had feelings for Holly but he knew she had a boyfriend and didn't want to interfere. JJ ended up telling Doug that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) had suspected he stole Julie's (Susan Seaforth Hayes) necklace, but JJ didn't believe that anymore. At the Horton cabin, Holly and Tate made love for the first time.

Belle (Martha Madison) tried to relax with a drink at Small Bar but was joined by a man she thought was Rafe (Galen Gering). Arnold was as rude with Belle as he was with everyone else, stressing that he thought Jada (Elia Cantu) was too ambitious. He then shocked Belle when he tried to kiss her. Belle shoved him away and quickly went to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and told him what happened.

Jada decided it was time to move out of the Hernandez house, much to Gabi's (Cherie Jimenez) dismay. She liked having another woman around and considered Jada to be a friend. However, she was still happy for the opportunity to spend Valentine's evening alone with JJ.

Wednesday, February 19

Belle talked EJ out of going after "Rafe" for kissing her, but then got a call and learned that EJ was after her job. Belle tossed a drink in EJ's face and he admitted it was true. He figured that she would want to end their little fling now, but Belle had no such plans and took EJ upstairs to the bedroom.

Jada and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) enjoyed some time playing darts at The Brady Pub where Shawn let Jada win after giving her some pointers. Shawn brought Jada back to Stephanie's place where she was now staying. Jada almost invited Shawn in but then thought better of it. She knew she was still in love with Rafe.

Xander (Paul Telfer) surprised Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) with a romantic Valentine's dinner in the Kiriakis living room. He also wondered if Titan should buy the hospital and save the facility, along with Sarah's job. When Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) arrived with his things ready to move in, Xander welcomed him while Sarah wondered how long she could keep lying to her husband.

Thursday, February 20

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) freaked out after Brady (Eric Martsolf) told her that CPS was questioning him about Rachel Black's (Finley Rose Slater) upbringing and they would soon be questioning her. There was no way that they could find out that Rachel essentially kidnapped Ava (Tamara Braun). When a vial of serum arrived for Kristen, she had an idea.

At Aremid, Rafe was confused when he met Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle). He assumed she was working for EJ but she said she was keeping him hostage to make her daughter and granddaughter happy. She didn't know that Steve had used ISA technology to hear the message Ava left Brady, so Brady was downstairs rescuing her.

When EJ woke, Belle told him he had been talking in his sleep and said he had set up Jada. EJ denied it and Belle chose to believe him, especially after EJ confessed he had strong feelings for her.

Jada dreamed that Rafe apologized for everything and got down on one knee and proposed to her. Later, she got more heartache when Javi told her that Rafe had cheated.

Friday, February 21

Ava was relieved to finally be rescued after weeks tied to a wheelchair, but boy did she have a tale to tell. Brady and Steve listened in disbelief as she informed them that Rachel Black was responsible for this, but she had help. It turned out that Kristen's mother is alive after all these decades and was her granddaughter's willing accomplice. Steve searched the haunted house for Rachel Blake, found her and brought her to the Salem PD to be booked.

Kristen informed EJ that they now had one of Rolf's memory-erasing serums so they could let Ava and Rafe free after jabbing them. They wouldn't remember a thing about what happened to them. However, when they got to Aremid, they saw Ava was gone. EJ ran upstairs and was relieved to still find Rafe. When he tried to inject him, Rafe fought back.

Belle and Shawn squabbled in his office as Shawn informed his ex-wife that he knew she was sleeping with EJ and couldn't be objective about his criminality. Belle denied those accusations and realized being divorced friends would be easier said than done.

Meanwhile, Jada was devastated when Javi dropped the bomb that "Rafe" had sex with a stripper than night before their ill-fated wedding. When Shawn found her crying on a bench, Jada fell into his arms.
