Days of our Lives weekly recap for the week of February 10, 2025: Reunions, decisions, and farewells

Days of our Lives, Monday, February 10

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was stunned to see her mother alive and well before her eyes after she thought Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) had perished in Paris nearly 30 years ago. Rachel explained that she survived the explosion but did not want to burden her family with her presence. She also convinced Kristen to not tell anyone Ava (Tamara Braun) was there lest Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) be blamed for a crime at such a young age.

What neither one of them knew was that EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) was moving a very much alive Rafe (Galen Gering) to Aremid in a body bag. After a close call with Jada (Elia Cantu) in the tunnels, EJ didn't want to take any more chances.

Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) continued their search for Ava after learning from Tripp that she was not in Hong Kong.

Tuesday, February 11

The cast of Body and Soul learned its fate when Abe (James Reynolds) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) gathered everyone together to announce that they sold the rights to the show back to the network. Production was moving to California, and the whole cast was offered jobs if they wanted to relocate.

Bonnie (Judi Evans) wasn't sure what to do, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) knew that she had no desire to move, and Leo (Greg Rikaart) was all ready to work remotely. However, he learned that the network didn't want him so he was out of a job.

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) was fine with moving to LA and suggested that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson move with her, but he was hesitant.

Wednesday, February 12

Joy didn't mince words with Alex and told him she knew why he didn't want to move to LA. He didn't want to leave Stephanie. Joy admitted that she knew they were together again, and Alex didn't deny it. He tried to make excuses for himself, but Joy didn't want to heat it. Alex then told Stephanie that they were free to be together.

Kayla was stunned to learn that the hospital was ready to declare bankruptcy and would be shutting down. Stephanie was determined to save the hospital and her mother's job.

Johnny (Carson Boatman) told Chanel (Raven Bowens) that he didn't want to relocate because their lives were in Salem. Chanel was glad not to have to pack their things again. As they talked, Johnny and Chanel realized that they still wanted to have a baby.

Thursday, February 13

On Thursday's Days of our Lives, EJ got a big surprise when at Aremid with Rafe. He spotted Ava sitting in a wheelchair in the living room with a gag in her mouth. EJ was further shocked when Rachel Blake appeared and introduced herself. EJ wanted to set Ava free but Rachel knew that EJ was hiding his own hostage in her home and used that knowledge as blackmail for EJ to leave Ava right where she was.

Kristen and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) had a few friendly and then not-so-friendly words at Small Bar. Sarah was grateful Rachel Black was home safe and sound, but reminded Kristen that she blackmailed Xander (Paul Telfer) in order to get Sarah the serum that helped her walk again. When Kristen returned home, she learned that EJ had met her mother. When Sarah returned home, she was shocked as Xander asked Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to move into the mansion.

Jada found "Rafe" in the police commissioner's office smoking a cigar and being entirely rude to her. Jada put "Rafe" in his place and wondered what she ever saw in him.

Friday, February 14

Johnny and Chanel visited with Kayla to see if it was okay for Chanel to become pregnant. Sadly, it was not due to complications from Chanel's molar pregnancy last year. Kayla wanted to monitor Chanel and see if it would be safer to try later on.

While Holly (Ashley Puzemis) got ready for her night at the Horton cabin, Tate (Leo Howard) checked on Sophia (Rachel Boyd), who was having an argument with her mother. After rushing Sophia to the hospital when she had some pain, they learned the baby was fine. Sophia later convinced her mother to let her and Tate find a couple to adopt the baby. When Tate mentioned this to Johnny and Chanel, they had an idea.

Doug III (Peyton Meyer) presented a lonely Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) with roses for Valentine's Day and then offered to retrieve her special family book from the Horton cabin. When he got there, he found Holly in lingerie waiting for Tate.

Stephanie and Steve set up a big surprise for Kayla. When Kayla got home from work, she was pleased to see that Steve had remembered their anniversary and Valentine's Day.
