Days of our Lives summary for the week of January 27, 2025

Sophia proposed that she and Tate give up their baby for adoption despite her mother’s objections. Tate said he feared it would make things worse with her parents, and he suggested that they keep her parents in the loop. Holly and Doug’s friendship continued to flourish.

Javi learned that Leo had helped Doug III sell Julie’s necklace. Leo refused to elaborate on the details. When Leo contacted Doug about returning the necklace, Doug mentioned that he needed to get money first. Leo offered Doug a job as his assistant.

When Kristen mentioned her missing scrapbook, Brady suggested it might be a lead on Rachel. In Aremid at the Black House, the Lady in White plotted with Rachel to permanently remove Ava from the picture. The twosome knocked Ava out and tied her up. Kristen and Brady found Rachel alone at the Blake house. Rachel did not tell them about the Lady in White. The Lady kept Ava captive while Rachel returned home.

Jada’s bachelorette party kicked off with Jello shots and games. Paulina convinced Chanel to join the party but regretted it. A heartbroken Chanel drank too much and repeatedly made disparaging comments about Johnny. To lighten the mood, Stephanie ordered a car and shuttled the group over to the pub.

At the pub, Rafe’s quieter bachelor party hit a snag when EJ showed up uninvited. Steve was furious to hear that Rafe was working for EJ, and Arnold almost blew his cover when he attempted to pick a fight with Steve. A stripper, Savannah, eased the tension until the bachelorette party arrived. Jada assured “Rafe” that she was not jealous, and they went their separate ways for the night. Arnold retired to his hotel room and hooked up with Savannah from the party.

Chanel ran off from the bachelor party after she saw Johnny. When Shawn caught up to Chanel at the small bar, she grabbed him and kissed him. Worried for Chanel’s safety, Shawn took her home to sleep off the alcohol. Shawn told Chanel they had not slept together. Chanel apologized for having kissed Shawn. Shawn advised Chanel not to fixate on Johnny’s mistake and see if she could forgive him. When Chanel returned home, a worried Johnny was there.

EJ escorted Belle home after the bachelor party. When Belle admitted she was mad that EJ had ghosted her after their affair, EJ asked her if that was why she had taken his job. The fight escalated, and Belle kissed EJ. The next morning, Belle regretted sleeping with EJ again, and she told him so. EJ disagreed, and he proved it by having more sex with Belle. Marlena walked in on a naked EJ and Belle. Marlena told Belle she was disappointed in her and that Belle could not live in the penthouse if she dated EJ.

Brady worried when Ava did not respond to his calls or texts. The Lady in White called Rachel and instructed her to use Ava’s phone to text Brady. The text explained that Ava was in Hong Kong and that they should break up so Brady could focus on Rachel. Brady was heartbroken about the breakup, but he did not question the text. Brady and Kristen took Rachel to therapy.

EJ informed Rafe that it was Arnold and Jada’s wedding day. When Rafe called EJ sick, EJ argued that it was Jada’s fault because she had gotten EJ fired. Rafe begged EJ not to let Arnold harm Jada. EJ explained that Arnold would never sleep with Jada because he would prove that Jada was a dirty cop before they could consummate the marriage.

Marlena confided in Leo about Belle’s night with EJ. Leo told Marlena about his reunion with Javi. Gabi invited JJ to be her date for the wedding, but he got called into work.

The morning after the bachelor party, Javi found Arnold with Savannah. Arnold admitted he had slept with the stripper, and he guilted Javi into agreeing to keep quiet. Javi was torn, and he asked Leo for advice. Leo told Javi to tell Jada the truth, or else it would eat away at him. Conflicted, Javi decided to think about what to do.

Rafe escaped from the ropes that had tied him to the chair in the secret room of the DiMera tunnels. After Rafe knocked out EJ, he ran upstairs to escape. Loyal DiMera executive assistant Rita tasered Rafe when she ran into him as he exited the tunnels. EJ returned Rafe to the room, and Rita secured the ties. EJ reviewed the doctored evidence against Jada that Rita had delivered, and he texted Arnold with instructions.

Stephanie helped Jada get ready for the wedding. Jada confided that she was suspicious of Rafe’s recent behavior. Stephanie suggested that Jada was trigger-shy after her last marriage. When Arnold called to reassure Jada, she calmed. At the ceremony, Steve told Jada that her father was proud of her, and then he walked Jada down the aisle. Leo objected during the ceremony on Javi’s behalf. Javi attempted to tell the crowd about Rafe’s affair, but he was interrupted by Arnold. Arnold announced that he could not marry Jada.
