Days of our Lives summary for the week of February 24, 2025

Javi told Gabi about Rafe’s affair and Jada’s reaction to it. Confused, Gabi noted that none of Rafe’s behavior made sense. Gabi told Javi about the theory that Rafe was suffering from reactions to the coma. Gabi confronted “Rafe” about his behavior, but he refused to undergo an MRI. Arnold threw Gabi out of the house so that he could have sex with Savannah. Arnold confessed to Savannah that his real name was Arnold, but he lied and said he had been adopted by the Hernandez family.

Stephanie and Alex celebrated his birthday. While Alex talked to Will and Sonny on the phone, Stephanie went to confront Rafe about his treatment of Jada. Arnold kissed Stephanie, and she kneed him in the groin. When Stephanie returned to Alex, she theorized that it was not Rafe. Stephanie told Alex about Arnold Feniger. They agreed that if EJ had faked Arnold’s death and brought him back to replace Rafe, it would explain Rafe’s recent behavior. Alex told Gabi about the theory while Stephanie raced home to warn Jada.

Jada cried on Shawn’s shoulder about Rafe’s infidelity. After Shawn walked Jada home, she told him she was officially over Rafe. Jada kissed Shawn. Shawn worried aloud about taking advantage of a vulnerable Jada, but she assured him that she knew what she wanted. After Jada and Shawn slept together, Stephanie told Jada about her idea that Rafe had been replaced with Arnold.

Gabi confronted Arnold on her own. When Gabi asked Arnold to prove he was Rafe, he faked a migraine. Gabi stole Arnold's hair, and she took it to Kayla to run a DNA test. Rita tased Arnold into unconsciousness, and she replaced him with the real Rafe. When Shawn and Jada arrived to interrogate Arnold, a confused Rafe had no memory of his life. Shawn escorted Rafe to the police station to question him.

Belle was hesitant to believe that EJ was involved in Ava’s kidnapping. When Belle confronted EJ, he played innocent. After Rachel Blake Sr’s arrest and Brady’s news that Rafe had likely been replaced by Arnold, Belle was forced to confront the truth. Belle was angry with herself for having gotten involved with EJ a second time.

Brady trapped Kristen at the police department to make sure she did not escape justice. However, Kristen reminded Brady that Rachel had concocted the plan with her grandmother. Kristin convinced Brady that they would both lose custody of Rachel if the police arrested Kristen. Brady asked Ava not to press charges against Kristen for the sake of his daughter.

Marlena and Cat discussed the possibility of the hospital closing. Cat suggested a fundraiser to drum up public support for the hospital. Marlena invited Chad to brainstorm with them, then she left Chad and Cat alone together. Chad and Cat decided to hold an auction with fun prizes, and they agreed to continue to work together on the project.

Leo asked Chad to hire him as a reporter at the paper. Chad reluctantly agreed to give Leo a shot at doing serious journalism. Julie told Doug that she would give anything to have Alice’s necklace back. Although Julie told Doug that she did not think he had taken the necklace, she realized that she would need to file a police report. Holly told Maggie about Doug’s confession about his romantic feelings for her. Maggie advised Holly to set clear boundaries with Doug if she did not feel the same way.

Chanel underwent an outpatient procedure to have a cluster of abnormal cells removed from her uterus. Although Chanel was fine, she was disappointed that it meant her chances for a second molar pregnancy were higher. Chanel told Paulina about the possible adoption. After Paulina’s experience with Lani’s adoption within the family, she warned Chanel that the adoption could be difficult. Chanel said she wanted to be honest with the child from the start.

Tate told Sophia about Johnny and Chanel’s interest in adopting their baby. When Sophia told Amy about the prospective parents, she panicked and exaggerated Chanel’s involvement with her church. Amy asked to meet the couple. Tate made arrangements with Johnny and Chanel to have lunch with Amy at the DiMera mansion.
