Days of our Lives summary for the week of February 10, 2025

Steve confirmed that Ava was not in China. Worried, Steve promised to investigate. Brady told Kristen that he believed Ava had been kidnapped. Kristen went to the Blake house, and she was unexpectedly reunited with her mother, Rachel Blake. After they caught up, Kristen asked Rachel to free Ava. Rachel pleaded for Kristin to protect Rachel Jr. and keep Ava hidden away. Kristin reluctantly agreed.

Jada noticed that the entry to the tunnels was open and went inside to search for EJ. As EJ exited the room where he was holding Rafe, he ran into Jada. Jada confronted EJ about his part in the manufactured evidence against her, but she left the house frustrated. EJ swore to Belle that he had not framed Jada, and she seemed to believe him.

Worried about Rafe being discovered, EJ dragged him to the Blake house. After EJ stashed Rafe upstairs, he found Ava in the living room. Before EJ could free Ava, Rachel Blake appeared. Rachel made a deal with EJ to keep quiet about Ava if she kept quiet about Rafe.

Paulina told Shawn that Rafe was the new commissioner. Shawn fervently believed in Jada’s innocence. Paulina agreed to reinstate Jada when her name was cleared. Shawn delivered the commissioner news to Jada. When Jada noted that Rafe was a different person, Shawn suggested that the coma could be a reason for the change. Jada disagreed. Jada told Shawn that she believed Rafe did not love her.

Kate and Abe decided to end production of Body & Soul in Salem. As the rights were sold back to the network to continue the show, the cast was given the choice to remain on the show if they agreed to move to Los Angeles. Seth decided to quit his job as a doctor and move to LA. Kayla was eager to give up her acting job, but Seth informed her that the hospital was on the verge of bankruptcy. Stephanie jumped into action to work to save the hospital.

Leo wanted to write the show from Salem, but Kate informed him that the new producers wanted to hire a new head writer instead. When Doug showed up for work, Leo informed him that they were both out of a job. Leo told Doug to keep the advance on his salary as severance since Doug had already given the advance to Holly.

Joy confronted Alex about his decision to dump her for Stephanie. Disgusted, Joy dumped Alex, but she watched from afar as Alex and Stephanie kissed and made plans for Valentine’s Day. Steve surprised Kayla with a Valentine’s Day surprise.

Jada confronted “Rafe” in his office. Arnold advised Jada to let her grudge against EJ go, but Jada refused to let EJ ruin her life without consequences. When Arnold attempted to kiss Jada, she slapped him. As a rattled Jada left the commissioner’s office, Shawn escorted her out to calm her down. At the pub, Shawn listened to a drunken Jada complain about Rafe’s personality change. Shawn admitted that he had also been surprised by his ex. Jada was shocked to learn from Shawn that Belle had slept with EJ again.

Sarah had an awkward run-in with Kristen. After a misunderstanding, Xander and Philip bonded over their plan to convince Li Shin to turn on the DiMeras. Xander invited Philip to move back into the house.

Tate and Holly moved forward with their plan to sleep together at the cabin on Valentine’s day. While Tate ran into Sophia while he was shopping for supplies, she clutched her stomach in pain. Although Sophia and the baby were fine, Amy realized that Sophia and Tate genuinely cared about the baby and wanted what was best for it. Amy agreed to allow the adoption to move forward if Sophia found suitable parents.

Chanel asked Johnny if he was giving up his job because of Joy. Johnny stressed that his decision to stay in Salem was because he wanted to build a life with Chanel. After a chat with Tate, Chanel and Johnny decided to get pregnant. Chanel worried about getting pregnant, so she and Johnny went to talk to Kayla.

Kayla confirmed that Chanel’s bloodwork indicated a possible low risk tumor was growing. Although Chanel’s prognosis was good, Kayla noted that it was too soon for a pregnancy. While Johnny and Chanel comforted one another in the hospital waiting area, Tate saw them. When Tate explained that Amy had approved an adoption plan, Johnny and Chanel offered themselves as prospective parents.

Doug III gave Julie red roses for Valentine’s Day. After Julie told Doug III about a poem Doug had written for her, Doug III offered to go out to the Horton cabin to retrieve the poem for Julie. At the Horton cabin, Doug walked in on Holly modeling the lingerie she had put on for Tate.
