Johnny told Marlena how he accused Chanel of cheating and made a fool out of himself. He didn't think that Chanel would forgive him.

Chanel thanked Abe for letting her spend the night in his and Paulina's apartment. She ranted about Johnny and said if he trusted her, he would know she would never sneak into a hospital room to hook up with one of her co-stars. Chanel told Abe not to feel guilty about casting Alex and that Johnny was the problem. Chanel didn't care what Seth had said and didn't want to talk to Johnny.

Seth approached Stephanie while working and sarcastically told her he was sorry for the little mixup where he accidentally outed her. He wanted to call her a name but didn't and walked away, grinning.

Alex was looking for Justin and asked Bonnie if she told his dad about the scandal with Stephanie. Bonnie said she didn't have to, as half of Salem knew.

Kate called Joy and told her that she had watched her audition. Joy was thrilled when Kate told her she had been hired to play Regan Holloway.

Leo was in bed, trying to write a new script for Regan Holloway's character but was drowsy. He fell asleep and began dreaming of Arrow (Alex) and Faith (Chanel) at the Pineview Pub.

"I know the audience wanted us together, but I wanted us even more," said Faith. Regan Holloway (Joy) came marching in and demanded to know what was going on. Faith asked who she said, and Regan told her she was Arrow's wife.

Faith stood up and Regan showed her the oversized diamond ring on her hand. Faith said she had something to show her and tried to hold up her middle finger but it wouldn't extend. Faith noted she couldn't do that in Pineview. She grabbed the script and checked. It read for her to show "fear and panic," so she did.

Faith ran off, and Regan told Arrow to forget about her. "Regan Holloway is the only woman who knows what you want and how to give it to you," she cooed. Arrow told Regan that they were over. "Faith is the only woman for me, and I am going to find her," Arrow said before rushing off. Regan saw a steak knife on the table and picked it up. "We'll see about that," she mused.

Faith went to her daddy's and told him that her life was over. She explained that Arrow was married to that awful woman, Regan Holloway. "His high school sweetheart?" Commissioner Marshall (Abe) asked. When Faith looked confused, he added that he had read the spoilers. "I thought we were finally going to be together, but now it's all ruined!" Faith cried.

After Faith's dad left for the station, there was a knock at the door. "Go away, Arrow!" she yelled. Instead, someone in a mask came in and stabbed Faith with a knife. They left the knife on the floor and ran off. A moment later, Arrow arrived and saw Faith dead on the floor. He held her and picked up the knife. "Who could have done this to you?" he wondered. "You did!" her father said from the doorway.

The commissioner and Detective John Hotson (Johnny) came in, and Arrow insisted he didn't kill Faith. He said that he saw someone in a mask in the hall. "You mean this mask?" Hotson said. Hotson told Arrow he was under arrest, but Arrow thought Hotson had planted the mask.

As Hotson was putting Arrow behind bars, Arrow yelled and struck a martial arts pose. Moments later, Arrow was gone, and the commissioner found Hotson locked up in the cell. "Lucky I carry these in my pockets at all times," the commissioner told Hotson as he pulled out the cell keys and released him.

Arrow went to see Cassandra (Bonnie), who told him the murderer was called the Pineview Plunger. "The Plunger, seriously? That needs a rewrite," he paused to say. Arrow insisted he was innocent and thought the Plunger was Regan because he rejected her. Arrow couldn't believe that he found Faith dead on the floor. "I feel like I've lost her forever," he said. Cassandra reminded Arrow about the begonia that had brought her back to life. She thought maybe it could do the same for Faith.

Back at the hospital, Cassandra convinced Dr. Lamoray (Seth) to give her a booster dose of the begonia juice. She told Arrow to meet her in room 302 in 10 minutes, and she would bring Faith back to life. "I don't know how you got me out of handcuffs in the first place, and now you're giving me a chance to be with Faith again," Arrow said happily.

Arrow came to room 302 and found Cassandra killed by the Pineview Plunger. He picked up the knife beside her as the commissioner, and Hotson walked into the room. "We've got to stop meeting like this," the commissioner told Arrow. Hotson started reading Arrow his rights, but Arrow insisted it wasn't him who was the Plunger. He said it was Regan Holloway, but she was dead on the floor. "She's been plunged!" they gasped.

Arrow ran from the room and the commissioner yelled at Hotson to follow him down the stairwell. "There's a stairwell?" Hotson asked, confused. "It's off-camera!" the Commissioner yelled.

Arrow found Miranda (Steph) and told her he was being framed. He said he knew she was one of Regan's oldest and dearest friends, but the Plunger killed her. He asked if Miranda had talked to Regan since she returned to Pineview. "She said you were a no-good, dirty–" Miranda stopped, "Sorry, I can't say those words in Pineview."

"She said I was a no-good, dirty, expletive deleted? Then why would she want me back?" Arrow wondered. Miranda said Regan came out of the womb bitter. "She also said she was going to get you back if you rejected her, and someone was going to help her do it," Miranda added.

Arrow realized Dr. Lamoray was helping Regan. He tracked him down, but Lamoray accused Arrow of being the Plunger. They deduce that Charlemagne Lecroix (Marlena) is alive and that Lamoray gave her begonia juice. Arrow tried to drag Lamoray off to tell the police, but he claimed he was just following orders.

Arrow opened the door and the Plunger was waiting. Dr. Lamoray was killed, so Arrow called 911 and told them there had been another murder. He said that Charlemagne was the murderer and to go to the mansion immediately.

Arrow went to tell Miranda that Charlemagne was alive but found her with a knife in her back. Hotson walked in and Arrow said that he had found Miranda that way. "Charlemagne. It was Charlemagne! It was Charlemagne! It was Charlemagne! It was Charlemagne!" Arrow repeated. "Are you going to quit asking questions and let me talk?" Hotson asked. He said he was there to corroborate the claim that Miss Powers was with Charlemagne the night of the first murder.

The commissioner told Charlemagne his detective was confirming her alibi. Charlemagne thought her word should be enough. "You're not The Plunger," the commissioner agreed as the murderer approached them.

"There are more recurring beats here than a Dr. Dre song," Hotson said. "You can say that again," Arrow agreed before running off again. Arrow ran into the mansion's living room and found the Commissioner and Charlemagne dead. Arrow picked up the knife as Hotson ran into the room. "Oh, come on!" he complained. Hotson said he would give Arrow points for consistency.

They decided one of them had to be the Plunger, as no one was left in the cast. Arrow warned that the Plunger was behind Hotson, but he didn't believe him. The Plunger stabbed Hotson. He fell to the floor, leaving blood on Arrow's shirt.

Arrow woke up outside on a bench on a tropical island. All of the cast members were alive and around him. Kate told them, "Welcome to Weivenip." Kate explained that Weivenip was Pineview backward. Arrow wondered who wanted them dead.

Leo walked up and told them it was him. "It's my job to play God with your lives. I decide who you fall in love with and if you live or die. You have no free will, I am your free will. So take a load off and don't worry so much. I got this," Leo said. He added that reality was what he said it was. As he spoke, they warned him that the Plunger was walking up behind him. "I did that joke in Act Four with Hotson," Leo said.

Charlemagne took off the Plunger mask and faced them all. "Hattie?" Leo asked. "I'm Dr. Marlena Evans!" she snapped. "You're the Pineview Plunger? Why are you looking at me like I'm your next plunge? I thought we were friends!" Leo asked. "Okay, Mr. Wish Respecter," Marlena said. She reminded him she only wanted to do one scene, and he brought her back from the dead.

Leo woke up in his bed and realized it was just a dream. "Note to self, never kill off all your characters no matter how desperate you are for material," he said. Someone pounded on the door. Leo opened it, and it was the Pineview Plunger who then stabbed and killed him.

At the hospital, Abe and Kate hear about Leo's death. "That's what happens when you write yourself into a corner," Kate noted. They talked about how Steph was actually the Plunger and that it was a better idea to kill the head writer and keep the publicist. As it all happened before the show aired, Abe noted they could get some headlines, but he thought killing off one of the cast members would have been bigger. Kate said that the audience gets upset at that type of thing. "But who cares about the writers," Kate added, and they laughed. "Fade to black, Leo Stark," Kate said.

Leo woke up again and realized it was all a dream. There was a knock at the door, but it was just Abe, who wanted to know if Leo had gotten Kate's message about the new cast member.

On the set, Alex didn't want Johnny's apology. Chanel walked up, and everyone gave them some privacy. She noted that Johnny had his wedding ring back on. Johnny told her he had been an idiot and would do anything to make it up to her. He asked if they could move past the whole incident.

Kate interrupted and said she wanted to introduce them to a new cast member who would play the resident bad girl, Regan Holloway. "Let me introduce you to Joy Wesley," she said. As Joy walked out, Johnny and Joy recognized one another.
