Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Oh, how the mighty have fallen on Days of our Lives — or at least, how Xander has fallen, as we are not quite sure if he is mighty or not. We have mixed feelings about this. Xander started out as a scoundrel who seemed to redeem himself, but now he is a scoundrel again, and we are not sure if it works. We want to still root for Xander to get the girl and have his happily-ever-after, but what he did to Philip was pretty brutal. It was Sarah's worst fear, and he came through in spades. Watching Jada arrest Xander while EJ smirked and Julie had her "I told you so" face was kinda fun to see, but then we felt bad for Xander. He was on top of the world, not even two weeks ago, as he and Sarah planned a honeymoon and a second baby. No, he is on his way to the Salem PD again, and Sarah wants nothing to do with him. How is Xander going to get out of this one? Will Philip wake and decide to let his brother off the hook for nearly trying to kill him? It would at least give Xander a chance to redeem himself, but is he redeemable, or is DAYS trying to bring the character back to the dark side? That would certainly ruin years of character growth, as well as one very popular couple.
