3 BIG Days of our Lives Takeaways, March 6: Gabi's gun, Rafe's truth, joyless Joy

On the Thursday, March 6, 2025, episode of Days of our Lives, Gabi made a big move, Rafe got through to Jada, and Joy moped around town.

Days of our Lives highlights

Jada (Elia Cantu) went to work trying to get "Arnold" to tell her the truth in the interrogation room. As soon as she mentioned that Rafe (Galen Gering) was the one who hired her for the Salem PD, Rafe remembered being Rafe. Jada was skeptical, but Rafe was able to recite his marriage proposal word for word. That prompted Jada to run his fingerprints, which probably should have been done when Shawn (Brandon Beemer) arrested him a week ago.

The prints proved that the man in the interrogation room was indeed Rafe. Jada gave Shawn the news before running to her fiance and falling into his arms. Now, to find out what happened to Arnold.

Gabi's deadly threats

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) informed Rita (Maggie Carney) that their Rafe-Arnold switcheroo didn't go quite as planned, but Rita also had news for EJ. Arnold gave her trouble so she took care of the matter in a more permanent way. Before Rita could tell him what way that was, Gabi burst into the DiMera living room, waving a gun.

She threatened to kill EJ unless he told her where he had stashed Rafe. EJ once again played dumb, but he had JJ (Casey Moss) to thank for saving his life. JJ stopped Gabi from pulling the trigger by telling his girlfriend that Rafe was safe and sound.

Joy can't keep a secret

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was not happy to hear that both Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) would soon be working together at Titan, but she understood that they both needed jobs. An annoyed Joy pointed out she needed money now more than ever, but did not reveal why. Later, she nearly fainted in the Square, but JJ came along to rescue her. Joy had no idea this officer was Stephanie's brother, so she told him she might be pregnant and didn't need his help.

Joy's next stop was Small Bar, where she ran into Savannah the Stripper (Selena Moreno), who also happened to be a big soap fan. She recognized Joy from Body and Soul and offered to buy her a drink. Sad sack Joy said she would take a club soda, thus revealing her non-confirmed pregnancy to someone else.
