3 BIG Days of our Lives Takeaways, March 3: First DiMera impressions, Doug's confession, Jada's desperation

On the Monday, March 3, 2025, episode of Days of our Lives, Sophia and her mom met the DiMeras, Doug told the truth, and Jada searched for Rafe.

Days of our Lives highlights

Tate (Leo Howard) knew he had to get to the DiMera mansion for lunch with Johnny (Carson Boatman), Chanel (Raven Bowens), Sophia (Rachel Boyd), and Amy (Shi Ne Nielson), but he saw Holly (Ashley Puzemis) at a Horton Square table with Doug III (Peyton Manning) and wanted to know what was going on. Holly tried to cover it, but Doug decided to tell Tate everything.

Tate was surprised to hear that Doug stole a necklace and Holly was helping him try to get it back. It was fenced, but he wanted to return the necklace to its rightful owner. After Tate left, Holly worried that Tate would figure out it was Julie's necklace, but Doug didn't think it would be an issue.

DiMera drama time

Chanel was determined to play the part of a church wife while Johnny was determined to be all smiles. They found their parents in the DiMera living room arguing with one another but told EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) to fake it and look happy when Sophia and her mother arrived.

Amy was impressed with the mansion, although she had been there before to see Nicole (Arianne Zucker). However, she was dismayed to learn EJ and Nicole were divorced. EJ was happy to tell Amy that Nicole had left him for another man. Amy also expressed her distaste for the name "Sweet Bits" for Chanel's bakery because she didn't like double entendres. However, that was the least of Johnny and Chanel's concerns.

The search for Rafe

Neither Jada (Elia Cantu) nor Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) were surprised when the DNA test came back showing that the man they had believed was Rafe (Galen Gering) all these months was not Rafe at all. It finally hit Jada that EJ might have been keeping Rafe in the DiMera tunnels.

Jada and Gabi burst into the DiMera living room while Amy and Sophia were still there and demanded to know where Rafe was. EJ claimed innocence as always and even allowed Jada to search the tunnels. However, Amy announced her precious grandchild would never be a member of this family.
