After celebrating Alex's (Robert Scott Wilson) birthday with a cupcake at The Brady Pub, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) paid a visit to "Rafe" to go to bat for her best friend. She thought she could reason with the man who hurt Jada (Elia Cantu) so much, but the man before her grabbed her and planted. wet one on her instead.

A disgusted Stephanie got away from "Rafe" as soon as she could and went straight back to Alex where she told him what happened. Then, it hit her. What if this was not Rafe at all? She was reminded of another time Rafe got physical with her, and it creeped her out. It was years ago, but she later learned that the man who had hugged her was someone named Arnold. She wondered if that was who really dumped Jada at the altar.

Jada's revenge

After she cried on his shoulder in Horton Town Square, Jada brought Shawn (Brandon Beemer) back to Stephanie's place, where one thing led to another, and they began making out on the couch. Shawn stopped things before they got too far because he wasn't sure if Jada was just using him to get over Rafe.

Jada admitted that revenge was on her mind just a smidge, but she insisted that she truly wanted to move on and she was attracted to Shawn. While Shawn was hesitant, he finally gave in. Jada and Shawn began ripping each other's clothing off, and the bedroom was right there.

Leo's new career

Now that his time as a soap opera head writer was over, Leo (Greg Rikaart) wanted to be a real journalist, so he begged Chad (Billy Flynn) for another chance at The Spectator. He didn't even want the Lady Whistleblower column again. He wanted to be a real reporter and claimed he already had experience at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Funny how Chad had no trouble hiring the non-experienced Nicole (Arianne Zucker) last summer.

After some hemming and hawing, Chad finally agreed to hire Leo but wanted to teach him about journalistic ethics first. Leo might have a lot to learn.
