3 BIG Days of our Lives Takeaways, February 21: EJ's jab, Ava's wild tale, Jada's heartache

On the Friday, February 21, 2025, episode of Days of our Lives, EJ did his best to keep Rafe quiet, Brady and Steve were amazed by Ava's story, and Jada got news she never wanted to hear.

Days of our Lives highlights

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was giddy when she showed EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) a little vial of serum straight from Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton). It wouldn't kill Rafe (Galen Gering), but it would erase his memories of everything that's happened to him since New Year's Eve.

Meanwhile, Rafe did his best to sweet talk his way into convincing Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) to let him go. He told her that EJ was groomed to be just like Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), and she could never trust him. Rafe wasn't successful using words, so when EJ arrived, he got physical. As soon as EJ approached him with the syringe, Rafe fought back and attacked EJ. Kristen walked into a struggle and hoped her brother wouldn't be the one jabbed.

Ava had a story to tell

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) could hardly believe it when Ava told them that Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) had help in keeping her hostage. Her grandmother was her assistant. That baffled Brady as he wondered why Marlena (Deidre Hall) would do that. Ava said it was Rachel's other grandmother, Rachel Blake. While Brady knew Ava had to be telling the truth, Steve wasn't too sure until he found the Woman in White and brought her to the police station.

After learning that Kristen and EJ also knew where Ava was, Brady brought Ava to the hospital, where he tended to her every need. Ava finally called Tripp (Lucas Adams) and told her son that she was just fine.

Javi spills all

Jada (Elia Cantu) was in as much disbelief as Brady and Steve when Javi (Al Calderon) dropped the bomb that "Rafe" had slept with a stripper the night before he dumped Jada at the altar. Jada was heartbroken but also furious at herself for continuing to carry a torch for a man who would betray her like that.

Jada later sat alone on a bench in tears, wondering how it all went wrong. That's when Shawn (Brandon Beemer) arrive,d and a crying Jada fell straight into his arms.
