3 BIG Days of our Lives Takeaways, February 18: Arnold's bad move, Holly and Tate's big date, Doug's confession

On the Tuesday, February 18, 2025, episode of Days of our Lives, Arnold stunned Belle, Holly and Tate made love, and Doug III made a new friend.

Days of our Lives highlights

All Belle (Martha Madison) wanted was to relax with a drink at Small Bar, but she ended up running into Arnold (Galen Gering). Of course, she thought she was talking to Rafe, a man who was once her brother-in-law. She was floored by his new attitude, especially the disparaging remarks he made about Jada (Elia Cantu). He called her cagey and ambitious, something Belle had never thought about before.

When Belle admitted that she didn't like Jada going after the police commissioner job a few years ago, Arnold thought Belle was starting to like him, so he leaned in for a kiss. Belle couldn't believe that Rafe, of all people, would come onto her like that. This was the second one of Sami's (Alison Sweeney) ex-husbands to have designs on her this year. Or at least that's what Belle believed. She immediately went to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) to tell him what Rafe did, so EJ declared he was going to kill him.

Holly and Tate's special night

Tate (Leo Howard) removed his shirt to cook dinner so he would be in a state of undress, just like Holly (Ashley Puzemis). The two teens enjoyed a pasta meal before heading to bed and making love for the very first time. Holly said it was everything she had ever dreamed of and was glad her first time was with Tate.

Tate admitted that he wasn't sure what to think when he saw Doug III (Peyton Meyer) at the cabin earlier and told Holly that he believed Doug had a crush on her. Holly didn't mention to Tate that Doug had said just as much right before Tate walked through the door.

Doug's confession

JJ (Casey Moss) found Doug III deep in thought in the Horton living room. Doug showed JJ the lyrics that his grandfather had written for Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). He had found them in a book he retrieved for Julie at the Horton cabin. Doug finally admitted that he had feelings for Holly and blurted out as much, but JJ didn't have good advice for his new cousin.

However, JJ also had a confession to make. He had been keeping his eye on Doug since Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) had believed he'd stolen Julie's necklace. When JJ told Doug he didn't believe that any longer, Doug felt more guilty than ever.
