3 BIG Days of our Lives Takeaways, February 12, 2025: Baby talk and breakups

On the Wednesday, February 12, 2025, episode of Days of our Lives, Joy made a big move, Holly made big plans, and Johnny and Chanel made a big decision.

Days of our Lives Highlights

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) didn't mince words with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). She knew exactly why he was hesitant to move with her to Los Angeles to continue their roles on Body and Soul. He was with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) again and saw a future with her. Alex was surprised that Joy spotted him and Stephanie in a close moment the night before but put his foot in his mouth when he implied that he was only with Joy because he thought Stephanie was unavailable.

Stephanie was thrilled to learn that she and Alex were free to be together without Joy complicating things, but Joy was still heartbroken. She didn't make a decision about whether she would definitely move to L.A. but something tells us she is going to stick around Salem and make Stephanie's life a living hell.

Holly and Tate's next step

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) discussed Valentine's Day plans over some fries at The Brady Pub. Tate wanted the night to be special and even arranged for them to spend time at the Horton cabin as they did last summer. Holly hinted to Tate that she was ready to take their relationship to the next level when Sophia (Rachel Boyd) walked in.

Sophia dragged Tate to Horton Square to meet prospective adoptive parents who backed out before they even got there. At least they ran into Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) and lamented their plight, which got Johnny and Chanel thinking about their own pitter-patter of little feet.

It's baby time

Chanel was surprised about Johnny's Body and Soul news and his decision not to move to L.A. Chanel was definitely pleased but had something else on her mind. After talking with Sophia and Tate, Chanel sat Johnny down on a bench to discuss expanding their family.

Chanel was ready to try to have a baby after experiencing a tragic miscarriage next year. There was nothing getting in their way this time so Johnny and Chanel decided that it was time for them to become parents.
