What you need to know about Jonah Robinson, Days of our Lives' Dr. Mark Greene

Get to know Jonah Robinson, the man behind Days of our Lives' newest dashing doctor.

There's a new Days of our Lives doctor on staff at Salem University Hospital, and he's already caught the eye of Leo Stark and delivered good news to Johnny and Chanel. Jonah Robinson is playing Dr. Mark Greene, a character with a very familiar name.

Even Johnny recognized the new doc's moniker as one that belonged to another NBC doctor, Mark Greene from the medical procedural ER, as played by Anthony Edwards. DAYS' Dr. Greene already has ties to the canvas and ties to Chanel. His sister is Felicity, the teenager with Down syndrome who frequents Chanel's bakery, and his brother is Aaron, Tate's best friend.

DAYS is Robinson's first soap and only his fifth screen credit, according to IMDb, but he's honed his craft in theater over the last decade at places like the Goodspeed Opera House, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Kravis Center, and the Fountain Theater. He also played The Byrds' frontman Roger McGuinn in Peacock's Daisy Jones & the Six.

After his DAYS debut last week, Robinson took to Instagram to introduce himself and his character to fans.

"Meet Dr. Mark Greene," Robinson wrote alongside some set-side snaps with his on-screen siblings. "So excited to be joining @dayspeacock. It's an honor to be @kennedyjean04 @louis_tomeo 's big brother. Thank you, Marnie, Ken, @carlivatiron, and a huge shout out to the crew. Y'all are amazing!"

Robinson's first moments on DAYS were memorable, as the shirtless doctor stopped by Leo's table in Horton Town Square after a run. He was thirsty, looking for a glass of water, while Leo was thirsty looking at the good doctor. Mark quickly let Leo down easy and said he was not gay before heading to his hospital shift, where he told Johnny and a pregnant Chanel that everything looked good with their baby so far.

Will daytime's Dr. Greene get a Salem love interest soon? Stay tuned to find out.
