Here's every Days of our Lives fave you will see for Doug Williams' funeral

Days of our Lives is bringing back old faves and featuring current cast when the soap says goodbye to Doug -- and Bill Hayes.

Doug Williams and Bill Hayes were a part of the Days of our Lives fabric for more than 50 years. When Hayes passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 98, fans knew it wouldn't be long until they had to bid farewell to Doug, as well.

Now we know that DAYS has planned a spectacular and emotional memorial for Doug, set to air on December 3. That date will also coincide with the show's 15,000th episode. The day will be filled with lots of familiar faces. While Stephen Schnetzer, Gloria Loring, and Melissa Reeves's returns have all been confirmed, they aren't the only blasts from the past returning. Maree Cheatham, the only surviving original DAYS cast member, will reprise her role as Marie Horton.
