Days of our Lives' Blake Berris dissects the curious case of EverBobby Lynch

Is he Everett? Is he Bobby? Or is he someone else entirely? That's what Days of our Lives fans are trying to figure out about Blake Berris' latest Salem character.

When Blake Berris was cast on Days of our Lives as someone who allegedly had no connection to his previous character, Nick Fallon, fans were ready to give him a chance as a mild-mannered reporter who once dated -- and ghosted -- Stephanie Johnson. But DAYS made it pretty obvious from the start that he was also the man that Jada Hunter had once been married to.

After all, the soap released a promo last fall that told us just that. However, it took until February for Jada and Stephanie to make that discovery themselves. Now, both women are confused, as is Everett -- or is he?

The March 6 episode gave us a few more hints about Everett and his backstory, including that his birth name is Robert Everett Stein, but his mother's maiden name was Lynch. He says he has no memories of being the Bobby Stein that Jada was married to, but he was also in a car accident that caused amnesia.

That still doesn't explain how he has two identities and why we now see an evil look in his eye whenever he is at the Horton house. Those evil looks just began and remind us very much of Nick. Julie even finally acknowledged that Everett bears a striking resemblance to Nick, but why?

While Berris can't give too much away, he acknowledges that Everett will be spending a lot of time with Dr. Evans before he or we finally learn the truth.

"Deidre's always making jokes about Marlena, 'She's the worst therapist in the world,'" Berris told Michael Fairman TV. "I remember in the first therapy session, we almost couldn't get through the scenes because it's just so clear that Everett has a litany of very profound psychological issues that he is going to have to work through. He'll keep coming back. This guy's gonna pay the bills!"

Will all these therapy sessions with Marlena reveal what fans, Stephanie, and Jada want to know or will it result in danger they never saw coming?

"As far as a tease, I would say, you have all these characters sort of, trying to wake up the 'sleeping giant' in a way," Berris explained. "I think it's safe to say that like if you poke a bear, the bear might wake up."

What do you think? Does the man calling himself Everett have anything to do with Nick Fallon? We want to hear from you -- so drop your comments in the Comments section below, tweet about it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, or chat about it on our Message Boards.
