Marci Miller on Abby's "burning desire" to take down Days of our Lives' Gwen

Days of our Lives' Marci Miller reveals that Abby's appetite for revenge against Gwen (Emily O'Brien) is so insatiable, "it's a darn miracle Abby is holding it together." Especially now that Gabi (Camila Banus) is involved!

You know things are bad when you've got to turn to your biggest enemy to help you take down another enemy. And things must be really bad for Days of our Lives' Abigail (Marci Miller), who is shockingly teaming up with her absolute nemesis Gabi (Camila Banus) to get revenge on Gwen (Emily O'Brien). So, how did this "Abby and Gabi" pairing happen?!

In a new interview, Miller opens up about how Abigail is processing her current situation, which includes being estranged from her husband, Chad (Billy Flynn), who boinked the nanny, Gwen; finding out that Gwen isn't just a nanny but actually her half-sister; and that her newfound sibling just killed her grandmother Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer).

"It's treacherous. It's unforgivable. It's like a nightmare," Miller expresses to Soap Hub of Gwen's multiple misdeeds. "You think it couldn't possibly get any worse, and then it gets worse. Gwen's barometer for terrible just continues to grow. Abby thinks she can't endure any more and then this woman and the world compound something else on top of her. It's a darn miracle Abby is holding it together with this woman annihilating every aspect of her life!"

Abby may be managing to keep her marbles (for now), but some viewers might question her sanity now that she's teamed up with Gabi to get revenge on Gwen. After all, Gabi is Abby's enemy numero uno. But Miller says it makes perfect sense.

"I know there are varied opinions from fans because Gabi is Abby's worst enemy. But once I read it... it's not a situation where Gabi and Abby become buddy-buddy. They're working together because they have a common goal," she reveals, adding, "You still see the dissension and they make a lot of jabs at one another verbally. They're not happy about working together, but it's just circumstance... [Abby] needs somebody with some chutzpah, somebody with cajones to do what she can't do, and just the know-how. Abby has this burning desire to get revenge and payback."
