February is the month of love, so it's the perfect time to announce double the engagement news! Days of our Lives alums Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas Alamain) and Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea Brady) have each shared that they will be tying the knot to special someones.
Days of our Lives recently wowed fans with not one, not two, not three, but four weddings as part of its mid-2020 entertainment bonanza. While we can't top that number with our latest wedding news concerning the soap, we can match it: two different DAYS alums recently shared news of their engagements, which means that four people plan to head down the aisle in real-life!
Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas Alamain) took to Instagram to share that he and One Tree Hill actress Shantel VanSanten are engaged. His post includes quite the picture of the special moment that he proposed -- via words, not an actual photograph! (Though, there's one of those, too.)
"Well she didn't say yes... at first," he wrote. "First her legs buckled and she had to sit down, then she started crying and shaking and asking if this was real, then she started kissing me a whole bunch, then crying some more, then asking if it's real and if I'm playing a practical joke, then... I had to ask if that was a yes and THEN finally she said yes. Been an amazing journey so far, only gonna get better. Now you're stuck with me. Love you."

In the comments section of Webster's post, VanSanten explained her stunned reaction to her love's proposal. "I am the luckiest lady in the whole wide world to be stuck with you my dear," she teased. "To be fair I had every reason to ask if it was real. You didn't shortly before the proposal do a pretend proposal with a piece of ice. Hahahaha thank you for loving me so much!!"
The other DAYS alum to announce an engagement is Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea Brady), who shares that her fianc, Kevin Barrett, popped the question in Joshua Tree, California, on her birthday.
"Last night my boyfriend gave me a fianc for my birthday," she posted along with three snapshots from their relationship.
The couple also took to Instagram with a "thank you" video to all of the friends, family, and fans that have given them support and shared their congratulations. Many words can describe the three-minute clip, one of them being... interesting. And of course, happy!
Rachel Melvin played the role of DAYS' Chelsea Brady from 2005 to 2009. She went on to appear in series like Heroes, Awkward., Sleepy Hollow, and Chicago Med. She'll next be appearing in Manson Girls, which tells the story of the female devotees who joined Charles Manson's flock in the 1960s and helped carry out brutal killings meant to start an apocalyptic race war.

Victor Webster got his start in the entertainment industry playing the character of Roger on Sunset Beach in the late 90s and then joined DAYS as Nicholas Alamain, which he played from 1999 to 2000. Some of his other credits include Charmed, Lincoln Heights, Melrose Place, Castle, and Workin' Moms.
