Victoria Konefal will be back on Days of our Lives fans' screens faster than you can say "February Sweeps." The question that fans might be wondering, though, is whether or not the Emmy-nominated fan-favorite will be appearing in a ghostly or real-worldly form
After 55 years of seemingly unimaginable happenings, you would think that the residents of Salem would not be so quick to jump to conclusions. While nearly everyone else has given up on the chance of ever seeing Ciara again, Ben has remained steadfast that the love of his life would one day return to him.
It looks like Ben's faith was well placed. By the end of the month, Days of our Lives viewers will learn that Ciara is very much alive -- but that doesn't mean that a Cin reunion will be happening anytime soon. "Cin," of course, is the smooshed couple name created for the pairing of Ciara and Ben.
In the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, the magazine teases the return of Victoria Konefal, who will be reprising her Emmy-nominated role and that it will "not [be] as a ghost."

The casting bit includes a photo of Ciara in what appears to be a clear Lucite box reminiscent of the one seen in the Lifetime-to-Netflix series You.
In November of last year, Vincent insisted that he had shot and killed Ciara. That, however, hasn't stopped Ben from feeling Ciara's presence -- or Konefal from making on-screen appearances.
A newcomer is attached to Ciara's return. Jason Downs will be appearing as "Rhodes," a newly created role. Eagle-eyed soap fans might remember Downs as a Dutch concierge in a 2014 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
It is unclear if Konefal's (and Ciara's) return story has been altered. Longtime DAYS favorite Kristian Alfonso walked away from the NBC soap last fall after she rejected requests for her character to be off-screen for a period of four to five months. The show, however, promised the actress that her time away would be rewarded with a meaty storyline. Alfonso last aired in October 2020, and mid-February would be four months after the actress' last on-screen appearance.
Konefal, meanwhile, made her Days of our Lives debut in December 2017. She received a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2019.
