2020 has been a big year for Days of our Lives, which celebrated its 55th anniversary, aired its 14,000th episode, and nabbed the top spot in the women 18-49 ratings category for the first time in 15 years.
Huge congratulations are in order for Days of our Lives, which managed to take the top ratings position in the women 18-49 category for the week of December 14-18. This is the first time that the NBC soap has won that particular ratings category since March of 2006.
DAYS managed to bring in a total of 243,000 female viewers aged 18-49, while The Young and the Restless brought in 238,000; General Hospital brought in 233,000; and The Bold and the Beautiful brought in 217,000.
In response to the exciting ratings news, DAYS actor Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakis) shared several applause emojis; B&B writer Michele Val Jean gave a congratulations; and DAYS' head writer, Ron Carlivati, cheekily wrote, "It happens."
