Days of our Lives recently experienced a time jump that fast-forwarded stories one year into the future, and with the time travel storyline came the need to SORAS several of the NBC soap's younger characters -- including Holly Jonas.
DAYS viewers were recently introduced to the new version of Daniel (Shawn Christian) and Nicole's (Arianne Zucker) daughter, who is now being played by actress Elin Alexander.
In a post made to Instagram this week, the parents of the young actress wrote, "Did you see Elin on today's episode of @nbcdays? She plays little Holly Jonas she had such an amazing experience and learned from such amazingly talented actors like @ari8675. We hope we can get back to work someday soon we miss it so much. Alexander began auditioning about two years ago and quickly landed a national commercial that led to a Screen Actors Guild membership. While DAYS is Alexander's first soap opera role, she has previous acting experience that includes the TV series The Baxters and the short film In the Absence of Eden, for which she won a Women Making a Scene Supporting Actress award.
"Elin is definitely in her element with this business with all the glitz and glamour she loves it all," her parents shared on her social media account, which notes that the young actress is bilingual and can speak Lithuanian in addition to English.
As DAYS fans know, the character of Holly was previously portrayed by Cara and Sienna Gwartz from 2016 to 2017, Oakley and Taytum Fisher in 2017, and Harlow and Scarlett Mallory beginning in 2018.
